A Moment....

February 2 2003, 1:25 PM

As if a singular moment would do...

One such time would be Munkustrap greeting each member of the Tribe.

The rush of the Tribe to greet Old Deuteronomy...

Moments of Happiness...

When Demeter conforts the tom who saves her...

Memory... and the acceptance of Grizabella, first by Victoria...

There are humorous times as well where the characters enjoy each others' company and willingness to join in with the fun...

The Gumbie Cat - being Mice and Beetles, as well as that wonderfull three-part harmony of Demeter, Bomba and Jellylorum...

Bustopher Jones...

Pekes & Pollicles...

Growltiger & Gus...

I love the moments of the musical that show the togetherness of the Tribe - loves, friendships and loyalty...

Well, if I have to say only one moment....I guess it would have to be the moment in the Ball where the music starts to slow and the performers are facing the audience with thier arms spread wide and moving upwards and the lights are sort of turning around and out towards the audience.

But other moments for me are when the Overture starts, when it comes to the final few notes of the Ad-dressing of Cats, when Munkustrap comes out for the first time, when the cats all suddenly stand during 'Moments of Happiness'.....eh, the whole show.
