Hi all -
I have a 4 year old daughter that absolutely loves cats. Cats is coming to Madison (WI) in March, but the shows are too late in the evening for her to attend. Does anyone know if there is a way to get "behind the scenes" with the current Troika tour? She would be abolutely thrilled to meet the cast/watch them putting on makeup/warming up (tech run-through or the like). I called the local venue and they said that they don't have anything like that available. My next step will actually be to call Troika, but I fear that won't be received well...so I thought I'd try with the die-hards first. Thanks for any information you can provide...
I suggest you contact the COMPANY MANAGER and request a time for such a tour. MsJellicle might have that information available, or the Internet might give you that as well. Usually, the company crew is very congenial when people request a backstage tour. As to meeting the company, that "might" be possible through this person as well.
Some time ago, I made such a request when the tour went through Southern California, and Ms. Natalie Fleming was Company Manager then (she may not be now...). I also noted that the Dance Captain was giving a tour at the same time.
With regard to my previous message in the above thread, I have had no luck contacting the correct people. I have emailed Troika directly (no responses) and have talked with various personnel at the venue, but I haven't been able to set anything up.
Do any of you know who the manager is of the current Troika tour and what the best way to contact them would be? The show is fast approaching...
