the problem with all these recordings is that all the you tubes the audio is over driven & hard to enjoy sonically, the sound board recording was so unstabled that with out the Instrumenst s being run through thesound board & leveled out. als the gools told me that the monitors were two low or non working i forget, that he could hear himself over the 6 cabs that where next to his head.....(so loud y can't hear your self ... thats loud" so uness we can get good recording that was recorded from the back of a venue, on a good camera, (sorry you guys with 3 mega pixel record on to SDcards that fit in the palm of your hands. i'm talkin a system with auto leveling or a good condensor mic... thats why i record al my shwos from the back of the club to get a good mix of sound

It has nothing to do with the sound quality at all. I mean, don't get me wrong, I think Goolsby is a badass bass player, I've seen him live with the Doc, but i just don't digg his singing style. It's just my opinion. It seems to me as though he's trying too hard to sing like somebody.
one, the general population are grown accustomed to a certain way a song sounds... and the Gools is try to keep from everybody going in to culture shock of haveing to hear a song with melodyis not being the ones everybody is accustomed 2 .. here are some examples
so in raw Reality the Gools even ...Dare i Say it improved harmonically over the original(live versions not the studio release of said song) on the basis of tonality, timing & tempo (by staying on it), & back to my 1st Statement...if a better quality source ever comes to light in being a balanced unoverdriven mix of the song. then we can have a better comparison.
on a side note is it to much to give a fair judgment on this sititatuon...

it seems to me that everyone loved goolsby until he joined up with doyle and started using chud as drummer of blitzkid, and that blog by someone saying that singing style sucked
thats the same gig, that gools couldn't hear him self so instead of going high & losing the Register he dropped it to the lower note in the key... its also the from that DNA Club sound board, like i said ,find a balanced audio source that we can judge or wait, for a GF studio album

Im sure the new GF album will be badass, I mean, its Doyle and Chud. I wonder if this new album will comeout around the same time the new Misfits album comes out...
