You are not going to believe this. When Sophia is crying for a bottle, she calls out "mamma" loud and clear. I couldn't believe it myself, not from a 3 month old, but she's been doing it for three days now, and it's not a coincidence. Rich heard it, too. Then, when we go to her, she says "hi". I'm signing her up for college next week.
Now, you're probably thinking I'm going to say something ridiculous like "she makes the cutest poopies". Well, you're wrong. John made the cutest poopies. heh heh.
Gene, that great-granddaughter of yours must be here by now. How is she? What's her name?
Mule, when's that foal coming?
The summer has certainly flown by, hasn't it? My garden looked great this year. I grew these super-giant sunflowers for the first time that I started from seeds from the Martha Stewart K-Mart collection. They're so tall. Sometimes at night, when I walk by my front window, I jump, because it looks like there's people marching on my walkway. Martha Stewart's a sheister, but she sure makes some nice seeds.
I guess everyone is out having a great time in the nice weather, judging from how quiet it's been here lately. Good for you! That must mean I'm the only loser who didn't go anywhere. Eh. Whatever. My mind is pretty warped enough that I can amuse myself without having to travel far. But I hope you all decide to write soon. We haven't had a good disagreement in a while. Not since the pioneer thing.
Only a few more days of baseball left before the strike. Boo hoo. It figures - with the Yankees being so far ahead and all. I know no one here cares. Except maybe for Dave. I can sense the makings of a baseball fan there. Since I don't follow football the way I do baseball, the only thing to look forward to is Spring training next February. It's going to be a long winter.
Well, hopefully I'll talk to you soon. I'll try to think of some wrong cowboy information to spread on here so someone can come and correct me. :)
Hey, Kirby, what were you doing to that horse in picture #8, anyway? His eyes looked a little crossed.
When I bought my horses they had been running loose on the edge of the desert ... sure they came into the local watering trough supplied by the fellow that owned them but nobody knows for sure when Morticia decided it was time to create another member of the Adams Family...
I would like to know the due date but it won't change things much,,,,, so when the foal gets here that will be soon enough.. In the meantime I just watch for the usual signs such as nesting instinct ,,,, filling udder, nervousness, trying to find secluded place... and worst weather, dark of the moon, and no one around...
Her name is Teagan Alexis, she was born the 12th, I just returned from Tulsa and she is beautiful. Oh and you girls like the incidentals; she weighed 8lbs 2oz and was 20 inches tall. Thanks for asking Gina.
Congratulations to the proud Granddad! Wow, she's sizeable! And what a pretty name. I'm very happy for you all! When's the next one coming? You have quite a growing brood. That's fun.
