Just running past here to see if anything new was on the board.
Hope somebody has a new story or topic soon.
Probably most of us are busy with the fall chores.
If we were living as part of the "This Old House on the Prairie" we would be harvesting the garden goodies to preserve for winter. (Thank Goodness for Safeway and Food-Mart) Or maybe cutting firewood. Fixing the hole in the roof or stalking the elusive bison.
Whatever your up to have a safe and productive day.
ME ??? I'm headed out to drive truck hauling sugar beets so we can all have sweet coffee and donuts this winter.
Hiya Mule!! Nice to see ya dropping by. I guess some of us are more busy than others? Just checking in myself while my computer is allowing me onto the net as it has been playing up. Harvesting...yes it is that time of year again, harvest festival time, the nights are drawing in and the darkness is creeping in over hear around 7.30pm....I had to ask that one in order to tell you hehehe, Will stop by later on in the week to see if there are any more messages. Nice to see ya Mule! Janette
And certainly don't forget WORLD SERIES time! Of which, I might add, the Yankees won game one, round one of the playoffs tonight. It's always a tiring month for us fans here in NY, staying up late every night to watch it all unfold. It's like one, big, long party...
Oh dear. Dave. I wouldn't admit that to too many people. That's a problem, now, isn't it? You're a baseball loser! My brother-in-law, Dave, (Rich's brother) and I have a running joke. Instead of imposing a luxury tax on the big teams, why not just get rid of the crummy little teams? I mean, who really wants to watch the Royals play the Tigers, anyway? heh heh. A baseball purist I am not.
I can't believe the Yankees lost last night! They should be making easy work of the Angels.
Here's a little baseball humor...
What does the NY in the Mets logo stand for?
Next Year
What is the difference between a hot dog at Yankee Stadium and a hot dog at Fenway Park?
You can't get a hot dog in Boston in October
Oh! Going back to that mountain oysters conversation, did you happen to catch the last episode of Fear Factor on TV? Each of the contestants had to eat a raw penis- from a water buffalo, a bull, an elk, and a deer. It was absolutely DISGUSTING! And fascinating, too. Holy cow! We should all be female water buffalo's. And that's no bull!
