This post is actually for Rich. He sent me here to ask if anyone knows of a big indian monument carved in rock somewhere. He was watching a special about Mount Rushmore, and thought he remembered hearing there was a similar Indian tribute.

Actually, the Crazy Horse monument will be unbelievably more huge than Rushmore. It is claimed, if I remember right, that one of the president's heads will fit in Crazy Horse's horse's nostril and all of the presidents' heads in Crazy Horse's head. I may be off on the figures, but it's something astounding like that.

The Crazy Horse Monument is going to awesome when completed. We saw it a couple of years ago and even in the early stages it was impressive. As I understand
it the construction has been slow because it is all private funded - no government money.
