My first two childhood heroes were Clint Walker and Danny Kaye.
1)Clint Walker-Strong;Masculine;Handsome;Courageous and Role Model Loyal Hero.
2)Danny Kaye-Talent Extreme;Slim and "Cowardly Hero".
Any other Odd Couple Heroes?
Bugs Bunny: Smart, cute, funny, elusive, spontaneous...
and
Batgirl: (No, not wombat, not dingbat, BATGIRL) for the same reasons as above - Smart, cute, funny, elusive, spontaneous... always rescuing those two bumbling hero's from trouble)
Two more heroic people that I grew up adoring are:
Chris Chambliss - he was the Yankees first baseman from 1976-1982. In 1977, he hit the famous game winning home run in the 9th inning of the ALCS playoffs to defeat the KC Royals and go on to win the World Series. He was a champion and an gentleman on and off the field.
Jack LaLane - because every morning for 1/2 hour, my mother would exercise in front of the TV and get off our backs. Thanks, Jack! He had a cool dog, too.
