Marx custom toys

I just had to get in here and make one more post before I head off to bed. I got a glimpse today of a custom horse painter who may give me a run for my money. This artist is VERY good at what she does. I am a little disheartened at the same time I'm flattered to see that her auction photos look almost exactly like mine, except that hers have saguaro cactus in them, since she's from southern Arizona. I can't say for a fact that she copied my idea of the outdoor photos, but it would be my first guess. I suppose that's the way the world goes 'round, huh? I didn't "patent" the idea of outdoor photography. But I do think it's going to put a major crimp in how well my custom horses do on Ebay from now on, if I have to compete with someone like her--especially since she's retired and can do it all the time!

I know one thing: it's time to stop giving away any secrets on painting/sculpting or anything else I do with these customs until I get my debts paid off, which is a long way down the road, considering I'm now the proud owner of not one but two 80,000 to 110,000 dollar homes! Ouch!!! Makes a guy wonder how he gets himself in these messes!!!

Talk to y'all soon.

Kirby
