Happy Birthday Gina,
I hope your Yankees,do you proud. As Bob Hope once said, you know you are getting old ,when the candles cost more than the cake.
Enjoy your special day,but don't say-"Let them eat cake",because we all know what happened to Marie Antoinette.
Cheers-George.

Yankees win! Thheeee Yankees Win! (Radio announcer John Sterling's famous signature call)
The series is tied at one a piece. Go Yanks!

Now, whoa, Whoa, WHOA! What's all this talk about candles and forgetting about my birthday? Or as Rich so aptly put it (before we had kids) my birthday week?
NOOO! Don't forget it. In fact, you can send all gifts c/o Gina Romero to my home address :) heh heh.

So Ken's a Giant's fan, too. I forgot about that. Booooo :)

Hi George! Where ya been?

Oh, by the way, Paul, Cheri's birthday is March 7th, also.

I'll talk to ya later.

Hi Gina,
I'm glad your Yankees won.I am still in "Mourning" that my team couldn't even make the Finals this year.
I haven't gone yet,but I will soon be going on holidays from October 15th-November 5th.It will be my first "Outback Trip" in Australia.
I just realised your birthday falls on the Rugby League Grand Final in Sydney and my best friend has his birthday the following day.
Although we speak the same language, there are some differences between us.
In Australia,we would quote your birthday as 5\10 and others include the words "Colour" and "Favourite",but we do drive on the left handside of the road.
Anyway, that's enough lessons for one day,as we don't won't to overload your brain just before your birthday.

Ah ha ha ha hah! That Dave KILLS me! That's it, I'm 29 again. Actually, I'm 36 - for one more day... Oh man! I'm in my late 30's! In three more years, I'll officially be middle aged. But not grown up. I'm doomed to a life of immature behavior.

Okay, now, George, here's a lesson for ya. Holidays are like Christmas and Easter and New Year. Vacations are when you go away on a trip somewhere, like to the outback for a couple of weeks. Got it? Oh, and if I told you my favorite color is blue, the only "u" is in blue :) Sorry about your team. If all these guys here would only root for the Yankees like I keep telling them, they wouldn't be so frustrated. But I can't blame them, being so high up in the mountains and oxygen deprived. They're just not thinking clearly. ;)

Hey, where did you all go?

Yanks won yesterday. They could clinch it today! Yippee! Did you see the Boston game last night? So over dramatic. I hate Boston. I really want them to lose. They're goin' down. Either by Oakland, or the Yanks.

So far, my birthday has been quite a thrill. I woke up to a marching band playing a fanfare with confetti and balloons dropping from the ceiling, followed by Chippendale dancers who wanted to hypnotize me into spending the day with them. Oh wait, wrong birthday. Just teasing, Kirb! heh heh.

So far, my day has been very nice. The weather is beautiful, Rich and the kids took me to breakfast, and later we'll get together at my sister's house for cake and the Yankee game, because my two bro-in-law's birthdays are tomorrow and the day after.

Thank you all for remembering and for the warm wishes. I didn't expect it, but it definitely added to making me feel good all week.

Gina
