Hi Guy!
How are you? Good to see your name again. I can't believe you got snow already! We had some flurries last night and today, but just a teeny bit. I'm not ready for winter!
Go Yanks!

Hi Guy
Nice to see you back. You have snow???? I sure wish
we'd get some. Still way to dry here although it has
finally cooled off.

FALL BACK...................

October 26 2003, 10:30 AM

Hello to all......

It is great to see posts from new friends and an occasional hello from old friends.

No snow here in Idaho yet. The Spud harvest is basiclly over with and the third crop hay is in the stack. Sugar beets are starting to "pile-up" and should be through in the next week or so.
We could use the moisture and I hope we get plenty of it this winter but I still have a few outside chores to finish befor the snow gets here.
I would go help my friend Kirby move from old house to new house but the Jonas family should be moved by the time I get through driveing sugar beet truck.

My yard went from a green lawn to a yellow one almost in one day as the leaves on the poplar trees changed color and floated to the ground on a light breeze. Now comes the yard clean up......

I'll be ready for that next Kirby Jonas/Clint Walker book........ How about you?

The thought

October 27 2003, 4:39 PM

Hey Dell!

It's the thought that counts, buddy. You wouldn't want in the middle of this mess anyway! And by the way, I just got the final copy of Yaqui Gold today, so I'll spend the entire evening going through it when I get back to work in half an hour or so. It'll be on its way back to Illinois tomorrow. Wish me luck! And lots of "staying-awake" power. (No, it's not boring, but after thirty times of reading a book in less than half a year it gets a little old!)

Wow is this the final, final? Does that mean we really can hope to see it in November? I guess you could probably recite the whole thing from memory by now. Good luck the last read.
