Congratulations-I'm sure you will keep her in line- when she grows up to be a teenager and beyond.
But in the meantime, enjoy your little bundle of joy,and I hope she doesn't keep you up during the middle of the night.
That's great. So what are you gonna call her? Wow 8lbs. No wonder you wanted her to hurry up and be born. How's John and Sophie dealing with the new baby?
Thanks guys. No scrawny chicken leg babies here. If I waited three more weeks for her due date, she'd have been another one over 10 lbs like her brother. Uh oh, she's crying right now. I'd better go. My job is to try to keep her awake today so she'll sleep tonight instead of being up every single hour. So far, I haven't been doing too good. Talk to you later.
Hi Guy,
John is thrilled, Sophia is a little bit confused and jealous and very curious about this new baby in her house. I'm trying to give her lots of attention. Also, I hope nobody got offended by my chicken leg baby comment before. It's a joke I have with my girlfriend who also has big babies. All babies are beautiful.
Okay, okay. I swore I would not be drawn into this, but I've just gotta say something here. NOT ALL BABIES are cute! Perhaps beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but I've seen some babies that looked like they fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
I have to agree with Kirby, when my oldest sister first grandchild was born she show me his picture and asked what I thought. I didn't want to lie so I told her he was nice. She told me "You mean to tell me you don't think that's the ugliest baby you have ever seen in your whole life." Well I had to agree with her. But he has turned out to be a fine young man and definitely looks better as a man than he did as a baby.
Okay, you got me. I lied so that I wouldn't hurt anyone's feelings. Not all babies are beautiful. Whenever I'm grocery shopping, I always feel sorry for all the mom's I see who have to kiss and pour over their homely kids. I told that to my sister, and she asked me if I was afraid that God would strike me down for thinking those things. I told her no, because it's the truth :) heh heh. I know, I'm terrible!
