Until Kirby gets his next book out I have been reading lots of other stuff. I bought a box of paperback books at a yard sale and most are mysterys.

Elmer Kelton has a couple of real good books out. It took 2 volumes to get in all the history that it covers.

If you get a chance.... TALLGRASS and SOUTHWIND

Let me know how you like them. Kirby, These are sories like you and I have talked about. They have a good story and lots of history thrown in for extra reading appeal.

Well I'm off to drive truck, still trying to get the sugar beets in so there will be sweets for Christmas and CRISPY CREAM can make more donuts.

October gives me agida. Why do they insist on making it so.."interesting"? I hate interesting. I just want them to sweep everyone. I'll be able to breathe easier when this is all over. And sleep, too. These games end so late! Then, there's the post game... Sigh. Doh! I'm sorry. I have to apologize to all you other fans who don't have to go through this grueling post season. It's really a lot easier. hee hee.
