Linda...
I think your right TOO COLD and it was on a Sunday.........
Kids probably did halloween at school on Friday ...
AND who in the heck knows their neighbors anymore? I only know about 1/2 dozen and that because we have all lived in this neighborhood for more than 10 years..
This is the house I grew up in... so more than 50 years...
BUT so many new houses and neighbors... 10 apartment houses just within 3 blocks of me... as a kid growing up there were only 10 familys within 1/2 mile ....
No Halloweeners here..alot around but i was too busy and had no candies...so the lights were off,.
But i hear that in town the streets were full , Rawdon draws in so many kids from other towns around, for halloween, its nuts.
And Mule same here man , i am from here and my parents and their parents and so on...
and i remember when i was a kid in the 70`s there were about a dozen or so families year-round and everyone knew each other...and thats in my neighbourhood. And today (2004) Woah !!! houses and appartment buildings going up left and right !!!! my grandfather told me last week that hes going to build a house on his land in the woods and stay there...he cant beleive it ....so many new people , and its year after year theres more and more...
-so see even me in little rawdon ,quebec.....says the same. its like that just about "everywhere" .
c`est la vie !!!!!!
Well take care i`ll check ya all out later, hope everyone is doing alright !!!!! GUY!
Yep, Guy's right - it's just about like that everywhere. Population explosion. You can't drive to town after 3:30, because it will take you 1/2 hour to get a few miles, the traffic and lights are so bad.
I didn't know anybody in my neighborhood, till John started school. Now I know a lot of people. We had a good amount of trick or treaters. And now the leftovers are ours! :)
