Feel like a complete stranger creeping back in here like this. I just wanted to poke my head round and say Hi and to say that Yes, I am still around, but very quiet.
The power of friendship has helped me through a very difficult year and a few on this message board have done more than they will ever know to get me through one of the toughest things that has ever happened to me if not the worst in my life. So, to you all thanks!
I sure missed a lot of birthdays and Anniversary’s going by the board, Dave L, Linda, and Gina’s Anniversary (waves to gina). Nice to see some names I recognise, Guy, Ken and Mule.
Hey Kirby, thanks for the messages and for keeping in touch – know you are so busy and hope you and the family are all well. Any more Audio Books on the horizon?
Mule, well, hugs back at you for giving me the preverbal kick in the pants to come back and revisit the board. See – did as I promised (grin).
Hi it's good to see you back. I haven't posted anything in a long while either. But I visit here every day.
How's the weather at your place. Here, I mowed my grass and my Mother-In-Law's grass yesterday. That should take care of it for the rest of the year. Today it's raining and cold.
I've been pretty busy with work and the 5 grandkids.
See Janette .... nobody hollerd or called you names...
And if you continue you can join in all the KIRBY Games.
Thanks for the pat on the back... But all I did was send out an S O S (sign on soon) message to everybody on my e-mail list.
Now lets see who else shows up.
It would be great if a few newbies signed in.....
Weather here is about to change... Snow in immediate forcast, maybe 2 to 4 inches today/tomarrow.
Sure would be great to have a new book to read to pass the time......HUMMMMM
Happy Holidays to all and like Roy Rodgers said; "May the Good Lord take a likeing to ya!"
Thanks guys for the warm welcome (hugs back at ya!)
The weather right now in Scotland is horrible and wet, very wet but funnily enough is quite mild so the heating is off then on again from one day to the next. Frost is on hte ground some mornings and I must admit I love the smell of a fresh frosty morning.
I consider myself lucky to live in a City well, a very small one compared to those in the US as we have very clear skys and are not too badly effected by nasty smog and such.
Hope to see my Grand Daughter Rhiannon, on Boxing day (26 Dec) so I can watch her open her presents ahhh will be lovely to see her do that as I missed out on previous years from one reason or another.
Hope you are all hale and hearty? I am fineapart from the odd sniffle or two but luckily not too bad for the time of year.
I am working in London next week (YUK) so the city will be busy and very hectic but as I will be stuck inside a building for most of the time in meetings I will miss out - oh lucky me!
