Good Morning!
I thought perhaps someone else might have jumped in here to say hello or at least a wish for a nice day.

So I hope you have one where ever and who ever you are.

Hi Mule,
I haven't been here for a few days so thanks for the

Always the romantic, you are :) I can always count on you for a good laugh.
Well, at least you were in the spirit.

I had to go to a funeral in the morning and a wake at night on Valentine's day. Not much fun.

Belated Happy Valentines Day

February 17 2005, 8:13 PM

Hi all and a belated Happy Valentines day to you all. Im riding solo again
so you may see me in here a bit more often. Prince Charming left town with
his tail between his legs.

Busy as always with work and raising my daughter..Happy to be on my own again..oddly enough, guess he wasnt the right person for me or I wouldnt be feeling that way.

When I start dating again Im gonna send my potential suiter in here and you can all check him out for me ..:0). Think I need to find myself a good old cowboy because these city men just dont seem to do it for me at all.

Hope everyone is keeping healthy . There's been an outbreak of the Norwalk virus in our neck of the woods, trying real hard to avoid it. My Mom's nursing home has been under quaranteen for the last three weeks and so far ( knock on wood) she has stayed healthy.

Hope to read some more from my friends here in Kirbyland..

Take could care ya hear

Elizabeth

Belated Valentines Day

February 18 2005, 6:13 PM

My little furry spouse and I went to a Kenny Rogers concert last Saturday after dinner at our favorite local restaurant -- salmon and walleyed pike, ymm!

My leopard gelding is going to the trainer tomorrow to learn to drive.

I'm going to eastern Indiana on Sunday to pick up a lovely fewspot mare I've coveted for a long time. My buddy Pat Cote is coming along to help me drive, so it will be a "girls' day out!" We're planning to terrorize the local Cracker Barrel for breakfast and my friend in Indiana is making homemade lasagna.

We haven't had much snow this winter but we have had intermittent periods of very cold weather. The barn is finally done but the lean-to hasn't been replaced yet. Still having trouble with the water in the barn since it got frozen in December.

That's all the news from northern Illinois...
