I know most you don't live close enough to Pocatello to see the local paper, but there was a nice interview/article with Kirby today. Maybe the web master
can scan a copy so the rest of you can see it.
Maybe there is more to this interview? I found this in the Idaho State Journal archives.
City firefighter, brother release cowboy novel
POCATELLO - Although the book was published just recently, Kirby Jonas and his brother, Jamie, created the story “Disciples of the Wind” as children acting out adventures with their Johnny West dolls.
The Jonas brothers had duplicates of the same toy hero, so they painted the faces of each doll different to broaden their cast.
“We had like 30 of them,” Jonas said of their Johnny West collection. “We didn't just pick them up and start playing with them. We'd lie in bed and lay out these elaborate plans.”
For Jonas, a Pocatello firefighter and an accomplished Western novelist, releasing the book, which will be the first installment in a two-part series, marks his ninth self-published novel.
But it's his first collaborative effort with his brother, who works at the Social Security office in Idaho Falls.

Thanks, Mule. The web site is http://www.idahostatejournal.com/ I found the interview
by searching on Kirby Jonas. Also accessed the web cam
that was aimed on the "old town." Not much going on in old town at the moment.
