LOS ANGELES (Dec. 27) - Gerald R. Ford, who picked up the pieces of Richard Nixon's scandal-shattered White House as the 38th president and the only one never elected to nationwide office, has died. He was 93.

i well remember when president Gerald Ford sent every taxpayer in the U.S. a 200.00 rebate check to give the ecomony a boost,,,that went a long way for a McDonald's employee!!!!!
