Dell (Mule) is right. My new book is complete. It is called The Secret of Two Hawks, and for those of you who have received my emails for any length of time you've probably heard of it frequently. It's been in the works for many years, but I kept pushing it aside to do other books. It's a good story, but it wasn't high priority.
I hope to have that book out around July or so, but I want you to also know that I am working every day on Clint Walker's story, Long Arrow. That is coming along tremendously, and you are all going to really enjoy it. So while I do, as I said, hope to have SOTH out in July, I will be dedicating as much time as possible to Long Arrow. The way we are working it, Clint goes over the recordings I did of the entire mss, and then we get together and discuss the changes/additions/subtractions. So sometimes a day or two will go by that I have nothing to work on until we talk on the phone again, and on those days I'll be completing the proofreading of SOTH.
Bear with me. I know I've left you all hanging for a long time, but if I have my way I'll start trying to do two books a year (yeah, wish me luck on THAT!) and you won't be left hanging for 12 months or more between books.
I am looking forward to having something new from Kirby to read and enjoy. It is good to have a fairly youthful author around, to write highly enjoyable books, and to know that there will be more books coming. Lately I have read two different series of books by author, Frank Gee Patchin, The Battleship Boys series and The Pony Rider Boys. It gave me a profound sense of sorrow to read the last line in the last book in both series, knowing that The End, means just that. Keep them coming Kirby, and we will keep enjoying them.

And two books a year? I'll have to rearrange my finances or have the kids get me one for a birthday and one for christmas, Come to think of it that wouldn't be a bad deal for anybody!

to keep me busy while I'm waiting. Really looking forward to both of
