Hello all,

I thought I should let you all know in reference to the next book with Clint Walker, entitled Long Arrow, it is indefinitely on hold--again. I have just learned through secondary sources that Clint's move out of California is underway at last, so the self-imposed deadline of July 31st has apparently gone by the wayside. I haven't heard anything from Clint, so this is the information I have to go by for now. The last word I had was that we should have it all done by the end of July and Clint was going to call me when his part was done and I could "go to work." End of story. I've not heard anything else.

I hope Clint and his wife Susan are okay. I know they've been wanting this move for a long time. It's probably pretty hectic. I miss hearing from them, and I miss working on the book, but I know they have their own lives and priorities.

Hi Kirby,
I have read on the internet, that Clint Walker was recently on the Mark Levin Show (I must admit,I haven't heard of him),discussing about the Iraq War.
I hope "Samson Posey",isn't thinking of another comeback at the war front. If you remember,we never did not know what happened to him at "The Dirty Dozen".He was just presumed - "Dead".

Posey

You're right, George. I always thought that was a little weird to leave Clint hanging like that. I honestly think the editors just forgot to put in the part where he got killed, but you know what? I prefer to think he's still out there. However, that being the case, it sure was rotten of his comrades to leave him behind.

As for Clint, he hasn't responded to my latest email, so I'm assuming the rumor that he's in the middle of a move is true. I won't write that novel off, but I'm definitely moving on to other things. I can't wait forever with no word on what's going on. He wanted the book done at the end of July, but things came up. Such is life. I know he's doing what he needs to, and I sure wish him and Susan the best. They are very nice people and to have gotten the chance to know them I was very fortunate.

See you all down the trail!

Kirby

Kirby,
have you heard from Clint Walker concerning his new book? Is it an auto biography of his life?
