I heard that there is another western coming out called Appaloosa. Has anyone heard about it? I'm sure it's a remake.

I saw a short clip on the TONIGHT show.

It was written by Ed Harris....So it is probably a new story.......

Hi
I've seen the preview clips on tv. I don't think it is a remake, seems I heard that Ed Harris wrote the
screen play.

Appaloosa is based on the book of the same name by Robert Parker.Sounds like it could be a good movie. The book was pretty good although it had to much foul language in it in my opinion.

I finally saw the preview

Thanks for the replies. I like Ed Harris, so that is a positive to me. I did see under the rating for them movie that it is R for violence and language. So, I imagine hollywood is going to mess it up again with the f bombs.

I'll be on the look out for the other movie that was mention. The Hard Ride. If Val is in there it might be good. I know he done great with Commanche Moon. I saw a cover of a western with him on it. I haven't seen it and I don't know what it's called. But he play's a dead man. Kinda odd.

Take Care!

George

I was digging through my books today and I found that I had bought Appaloosa by Robert B. Parker several months ago. He is the author who also wrote the Spenser for Hire books and the Jesse Stone books.
