I read with sadness about the Ganesh and its mistreatment in an episode of Friends on NBC. About 2 weeks ago, on an episode of Will and Grace, Grace describes a threesome in which so many hands and legs were flying around they could have been a Hindu God. Last night (2/18) an Indiana Jones movie was playing on Channel 7-- Wealthy Indians were depicted as eating snakes and cockroaches, and all the Indian populace in the movie were depicted as malnourished, emaciated, wrinkled, old people. It seems that in recent months we do not see or here positive images about India/Hindus in the popular press. I am wondering if there is some kind of conspiracy.

These telivision programmes and movies always project that as though muslims and christians are patriotic ,giving their lives to hindu brothers while hindu saints as womenisers and looters.Secularism at root level indeed

Why talk about foreign media take our own Indian Media.
1.the great M.J.Akbar's News papers carry almost every alternate day Kuldip Nayyar's and Kushwanth Sings article with photos of naked sadhu's rolling in ash near a dust bin, as if that is Hinduism. These photographs were unrelated to the article but were deliberately published to give an impression that Hinduism is nothing but dirt.

2.The Hindu newspaper last year published an article written by an unknown Dutch women writer on Hinduism, which was full of false information. She had insulted ALL THE HINDU SCRIPTURES AND SLIGHTLY PLACED UPANISHADS ABOVE as if she is a scholar on Hinduism. There was a lot of protest against this article.
3.The Deccan Chronicle of Hyderabad, published an article attacking Hinduism directly stating the present sin of this country like poverty, illiteracy, rape and crimes etc are the result of Hinduism.
4 the late ABU ABRAHAM used to address our sankaracharyas in first person singular with prefixes like communal, retrograde medieval etc.

The list goes on no end.

We give too much importance for the foreign press let us ignore. This type of anti Hindu propaganda is going on since 200 years.
The westerners are so ignorant of India and Hindus there was a real incident occurred long ago, unbelievable one but true.
An INDIAN woman invited an American woman tourist to her house for dinner. The Indian woman introduced her husband to her. She immediately asked it seems "where are the other four?"

The tragedy was India had a break of nearly one thousand years of Muslim Rulers. They buried our culture our ancient sciences etc - so the when British arrived we presented ourselves as if barbarians. Naturally they mistook us so!!

Actually the Europeans were the ones who were Barbarians. We were far more cultured, that is why the British launched such a brutal attack on Hinduism. But somethings were jsut too much. For example to claim that Upanishads, Vedanta were creations of Barbarians would be foolhardy.

So the cunning British created the Aryan Invasion Theory. According to this all the good things in Hinduism like Vedanta, Upanishads, Mahabharatha etc. were creations of Europeans. In fact the British even claimed the great and famed sculptors of Mahabalipuram were created by outsiders. But everyone knows that the Pallava kings built them. But then the British changed it to mean that the Pallavas were orginally from Iranian dynasty of Phalavis!!

The British were the ones who turned us into barbarians and savages. Who created such poverty. Who created such lawlessness. Who created such corruption. Who created such weaking of morality. Why is it that woman in English speaking Cities are very loose. It was all the creation of the British.

Anyways West is not so good as they claim. The average age of losing Virginity for girls is 13. Due to peer pressure almost every girl loses here virginity before 17. Date rape, drugs, gang violence are all very common. Also the rapes that happen inside Prison are far higher than that which happen outside the Prison. Such is the state of these perverted soceities. But they never never show it. Instead they make fun of India and please their inferiority complexes by claim ing they are superior.

The biggest obstacle in Hindu revival is the Brown Englishmen in India. These guys are the biggest losers of all. They hate India and admire anything Western. Also the education system in India is a great set back. It lays zero emphasis on Morality. So we can see the educated people in India are the most horrible when it comes to extra maritial affairs, dowry etc.

In fact if one goes to any top hotel in a City like Delhi, after 8.00 a.m. the halls are filled with woman looking to make some fast cash by offering to sleep with you. I feel so pitiful for the parents who spent so much money in bringing up the daughters and sending them to private shcools and this is how they turn out.

To quote Shri Aurobindo:

We can see that happening in India today. The educated class instead of contributing to India is only taking it backwards. So the first thing would be educate the Hindus properly. The internet can be used to spread Dharma and remove asuric thoughts from our midst.

In fact only our dharma has made the animal man in to a humane.Those whoever fortunateenough were moulded in to a human and remained Hindu. That is the strongest reason why Islam and Christianity could not succeeded in converting this mass of humans enriched with culture and civilisation known as Hindus, in to thier fold.
