Disasterous Indian Policy of "No First Use"

May 30 2002 at 12:47 AM

The Policy of Self Annihilation

Once again India and Pakistan are on the brink of war over
Kashmir. In case of war there would be a very high risk of
initial conventional war immediately escalating to a wider
nuclear conflict. The reason for this escalation would be
obvious, India's overwhelming superiority over Pakistan in
conventional warfare. Pakistan would suffer heavy initial
losses in the conventional warfare. As per our declared policy
of "No First Use" of nuclear weapons, we would not use it
unless the enemy uses it. India would strike with the nuclear
weapons only if Pakistan does so. And our second strike
would be to annihilate the enemy.

Pakistan knowing that it can not match India in conventional
warfare, it would be left with no other option than the nuclear one,
may be in the initial phase of the war itself. It would be certainly
prompted to use it first and Pakistan has openly said at various
instances that it would use it first with the obvious repercussion
of their terrible devastation. It is very important here to understand that
when they know their first strike is going to invite their total devastation
that very first strike itself would be with all their might.

India needs to understand this plain logic. Within minutes of the
first strike many of Indian cities may be 10, 20 or even more would
be left with death, destruction, disease and subsequent total economic
collapse of the nation, something that the world has not seen before.
It is very easy to say these words, but very difficult even to imagine.

Probably after so many cities devastated, India would be left wreaked
with no nuclear deterrence at all, and if at all any capability to strike back
would remain, it would also be left with so many wounds to lick for years to come.
This dangerous policy of "No First Use" will lead to self-annihilation first.
The strike that would leave India hundreds of years behind, in terms of
development and progress, it would cease to be an (emerging ) power.
This indeed would be a very dangerous war strategy on India's part.

It is an appeal to our government to abrogate the policy of "No First Use",
and in case of war, it is strongly advocated to Indian government to use the
nuclear option first, especially with Pakistan, if at all it has to emerge victorious
over the evil, or it should drop the very idea of wedging a war with a nuclear
weapon equipped enemy, and watch innocent deaths, endlessly, helplessly.

As far as adverse world opinion and various embargo are concerned,
that would be definitely preferred over the otherwise economic collapse
due to nuclear devastation.

This article is written in the supreme interest of our beloved motherland
"India" for which we are ready to fight till the last drop of Indian blood.
Circulate this article to as many fellow Indians as possible, and make
them aware of this dangerous policy adapted by our government.

No First Use

June 1 2002, 3:52 PM

IN A NUCLEAR WAR THERE IS NO SECOND USE. PAK WILL NOT DROP ONE NUKE AND WAIT FOR INDIA'S RESPONSE. PAK WILL LAUNCH ALL ITS NUCLEAR WARHEADS SIMULTANEOUSLY ON BOMBAY, DELHI, CALCUTTA, HYDERABAD, BANGALORE, MADRAS, NAGPUR ETC ETC. INDIA WILL NOT REMAIN TO STRIKE BACK. AVOIDING A NUCLEAR WAR IS IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF INDIA, MORE THAN PAKISTAN'S. BECAUSE PAK HAS NOTHING TO LOSE, BECAUSE MOST OF THEM ARE SUICIDE BOMBERS ANYWAY, WITHOUT RESPECT FOR HUMAN LIFE.
