why pick on nambiar? He is as bad as all the rest who have appeared on these talk shows over the last thirty years I have watched. All these people are career dipolomats who pass Indian Foreign service Thats it.They hve no other accomplishments (mostly 0. Other countries appoint people who are savvy in the world scene, media and other beneficial to one's country and cause. Just because you pass an exam, you don't get the polish one needs,

All our guys have great desire to pontificate and try to express their ideas blessed with a very generous portion of Indian philosophy. It should be mandatory for Indian Foreign Service to teach how and what communicate, specially in the madi savvy western world. I would get rid of that foreign office cadre and only hire and fire people who can gab confidently. it does not matter whether they are lying or fibbing (look at Pakistani Ambassador & most of the personality in the US, UK and Canandian TV). even India's Advani, Manohar Joshi etc etc are dead loss on foreign TV systems.

CNN interview with Nambiar

A time has come for us to let the Indian government know that we are fed up with goody goody intellectuals working overseas as Indian ambassadors.Mr. Nambiar's presence was a shock and his command over English is equally disturbing. It is high time the govt. begins to recruit excellent marketing/sales executives from the private sector with successful track records to represent India. Justice, Indian govt. must know, does not fall from the sky; justice has to be demanded. The foreign service individuals including Nirupama Rao are not adequately equipped to represent India. When the govt. will wake up. Please let's take some actions to force the govt to change their mindset.

Needed Well dressed articulate agressive ambassadors with the gift of the gab.

We need well dressed, articulate (clear speech to go with that) agressive ambassadors with a gift of the gab.

The Pakistanis have the guts to lie through their teeth on intenational TV on India's violation of UN regulations "self determination" for the Kashmiris and the Press here is not even equipped to question them on this line of arguement.

Quite frankly the average Indians is not aware of the keys issues on the India Pak conflict either

Mansingh is a mouse, Jaswant mumbles, ABV bumbles, George looks like he needs a bath.....
