Let us start campaigning against this text. Microsoft is sure to heed complaints by consumers.

All of us can use the following:-
MESSAGE SUBJECT:-
"Prejudice in Hinduism studies"
ARTICLE TITLE:-
"Religion Section"
DETAILED DESCRIPTION:-
"Please, re-write the section on Hindu religion to provide it the same mature and balanced treatment which other religions receive on encarta.

Wendy Doniger's article does not represent the mainstream of Hindu thought in both the selection of content and its interpretation. Please, select a non-controversial author to re-write articles.

Please, refer to sankrat sanu's artcile for details:- Are Hinduism studies prejudiced? A look at Microsoft Encarta.

Thanks Prakash for providing links

I own Encarta versions 98 and 2002. Overall I am satisfied with the product, however as a Hindu myself, I find the content on Hindu religion in encarta incorrect, biased compared to other religions and offensive.

Encarta content is an insult to 2 million Hindu-Americans and 1 billion Hindus around the world.

Please review the content in article below and reconsider the encarta content.

If this deliberate slander continues in future versions, Hindu community will need to consider boycotting encarta and other Microsoft products.
