Somehow the praise offered on Fox News to Pakistan after arrest of Khalid Mhmd was uncharacteristic. One senator went on to say Mr.Mushraf is his hero. Former secretary of state Mr.EagleBurger asked US media critical of Pakistan to shut up.

I think Mushraf is a real cunning and has created impression that he is helping American cause of fight against terror. He has helped Bush make (stage!!!) major arrests at politically significant times. Pakistan' friends in U.S media esp. like Masoor Izaz (He is a Fox!!!) have created
a good impression on American Mindset.

Mushraf's interview to Ajtak, shows that he really don't have any pressure whatsoever from US to stop terrorists against India.

I hope India fights back cleverly and pragmatically without getting too emotional about these issue. Pakistan can never take Kashmir away from us but it is time to hurt back. IT's time to stop worrying about US war on terrorism. It is time make Mushraf uncomforatable real uncomfortable...

You are right. Watched Geraldo on FOX with Secretary Eagleburger who called Pakistan critics in the Press, media and Govt. as "jerks". Geraldo was all ga ga over the Pakistani President.

I was impressed by the TV smarts of their Ambassador Jehangir Qazi. Mansoor Izaz is smart and an artculate speaker.

Where are the Indians ? Our Ambassador is rarely seen and is " a nice guy". We need forceful speakers who can articulate India's foreign and domestic policies in the Western media. Where are all the great speakers from the several hundred public schools - who speak the English language better than the Brits !

Our representatives need training in PR.

I had writtenu about unsuitability of our embassy and other official, at that time u told me u had other important matters at hand, there couldn't be anything important than being media savy and putting forth ur side, otherwise I am afriad we will lose, big time to Pakistan, we need to put lot of pressure on New Delhi because they normally don't wake up unless shaken. Look at Thailand they have apponited Infosys chairman Narayan Murthy as their Governments IT adviser, India is too slow, Government simply doesn't understand. There needs to be lot of hue and cry for them to make some changes,Media in India needs to put lot of pressure for government to act, for e.g right who could be in better position than India to explain it to the world that Pakistan is not part of the solution but it is part of the problem.

Why don't we get some signatures ? Why don't we get Indian Media's attention on this ? Back in India, they don't even know that we are somehow lacking behind in communicating and articulating our position to the rest of the world.
