Can India ever be a Superpower ????March 23 2003 at 8:23 AM | Vinod Negi |
| In terms of resources, India lacks nothing except discipline and determination to emerge as a superpower. Countries that have the potential are China, India, Australia, The European Union to challenge the USA.
What do you think ?
What do you think it will take India to ascend to this position and when ??
I welcome your post.
Thank you. |

i don't see how india cud become superpower. we don't lack in resources, but in will, we simply don't have the iron you need to be able to deal with thingss appropriately. you can not put money in a "fix deposite" and then except to become millionarie !!! india and indians lack guts, will, iron etc etc.

Yes India can be a super power provided we kick out this so-called self-depreciating inferiority complexd Marxists out of this country.
Yes we do not lack in any resources but we are suffering from Inferiority complex and more than anything else we do not have self-respect and we do not feel proud of our past glory. Further these so-called self-styled pseudo Marxists have divided this country in to Minority/ Majority /daliths / downtrodden/ backward/forward eastward and westward. That’s the whole problem. This lack of self-respect produced people like Kushwanth Singh’s, Kuldip Nayyar’s and Vajpayee’s.
The second reason is everything in this country is election oriented. Right from poverty to Human rights
Got my point??

Folks,
I am disappointed by the lack of passion of our readership.
Its a matter of serious consideration. By introducing this topic, I want some serious debates and outcome. We would like people to devote at least 50-100 words and what we need to change our present position. Krishnabaalu, your are right in many ways. We lack self-esteem. We have been repeated invaded by the Islamic plunderers, our religion teaches peace and passivity, humbleness and respect for others.
We have to learn to come together on issues and take one step at a time to achieve the task ahead of us. If we can take up 5 major points and then promise to achieve them, we would be five steps in the game plan.
Can our readership - please devote sometime to think in along those lines.
