| Marxist Megalomaniacs | March 26 2003, 9:02 AM |
That was hilarious Janardhan.
Here's another commie interview opposing Savarkar.
http://www.rediff.com/news/2003/mar/03inter.htm
Fun part:
There are several incosistencies in his article, the commie cannot make up his mind on whether Bhagat Singh was a terrorist or not, whether Savarkar was a villain or not, whether he was a Hindu communalist (sic) or atheist etc.
But this really takes the cake:
"Scholars like me and political leaders were unaware of it."
"Scholars like me"? PLLLLLEEAASSEEE!!!
The marxist megalomania is affluent on rediff and other media, be it Prafool Bidwai, Kuldip Nayyar or such rampant commie weed. |

| Intellectual Bankruptcy.. | March 26 2003, 11:25 AM |
If India considers people like Romila Tappar as Intellectuals, it clearly demostrates the intellectual beggary of our country. No decent person worth his salt will heap praises upon himself. Inside they might have those egoistical feelings.
But to openly procalim I am a scholar etc. suggests megalomaniac tendencies. The Human tendency is to be repelled by such persons. Only persons without a shred of humanity in them will be attracted to such people.
Since Romilla Tappar has so many fans in India it is safe to conclude, this intellectual bankruptcy is what is causing India to be such an inhuman place to live in. |

| Your crictism of Romila Thapar is in order but to say ... | March 26 2003, 3:54 PM |
that India is not a becoming a inhuman place to live in seems harsh. Intellectual or not, India is a great country to live in - the hardship is because of water, electricity, corruption and not intellectual. You may want to rephrase your sentence. |

| I stand my own quote.. | March 27 2003, 10:34 AM |
I have to be honest. I indeed feel India is an inhuman place. Maybe I can modify my line and say India is an inhuman place for Hindus. Take the case of the woman in Bihar. She was kidnapped in broad daylight and added to the harem of some Gangster.
Also take the case of women in Bengal. They were abducted and raped inside a Madrassa for hours together.
Only inhumans will keep quite. Would any civilised people keep quite? Hindus are keeping quite because they have become so inhuman. That is why they can tolerate people like Gandhi, Theresa, Tappar etc.

KDR,
Please be specific. No Hindu, Indian or any religious person be it Muslim, Christian or Sikh will tolerate any of the sad incidents you mention in your post above.
Are you saying that this is only happening to Hindus ? What about all the killings, assaults that the Thakurs in Bihar and UP have conducted for so long ? How come you do not have the vision and courage to challenge their brutal behavior !
Once again, NO HUMAN BEING should tolerate any of the assaults, rape and brutalities.
Secularism does not mean that you all criminal behavior like that be allowed to happen.
India is for INDIANS and no person should be treated in humanely be it a Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikh or any other minority religion.
You must raise your voice against injustice not call India and Indians inhumane.
Take some action, write to the PM, President, CM or anyother person. Voice your opinion. Highlight these issues in INDIACAUSE.

| Spit on Romila Thapper | March 30 2003, 12:16 PM |
Let us all nationalists, those who have slightest love for India together spit on Romila Thapper. When time will come, we will make her leave the country putting her on the back of a donkey from India towards Afganisthan along with all the history books she has written.
The Marxist traitors should not be spared!!!

Lets deal with issues with dignity ! Lets not degrade our debates and topic to a low standard. Spit and other degrading words have no use in a serious debate. |

<<Please be specific. No Hindu, Indian or any religious person be it Muslim, Christian or Sikh will tolerate any of the sad incidents you mention in your post above.>>
Wrong! As long as these incidents happen to Hindu women it is ok. Nobody bothers about it. Where is the hue and cry for Bengali Hindus or Kashmiri Hindus? Gujarat is nothing compared to what they went through. But yet not a single Indian bothers about it.
<<Are you saying that this is only happening to Hindus ? What about all the killings, assaults that the Thakurs in Bihar and UP have conducted for so long ? How come you do not have the vision and courage to challenge their brutal behavior !>>
Precisely my point. When something happens to Hindus Indians dont give a damn. It is fashionable to look down on Hindus with contempt. I am against discrimination of all sorts. But the Thakurs dont have sanction among common Hindus. It is only in interiors that they can do such things. If they do it in cities they will be punished properly.
<<Once again, NO HUMAN BEING should tolerate any of the assaults, rape and brutalities.>>
Please include Hindus in the human race.
<<India is for INDIANS and no person should be treated in humanely be it a Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikh or any other minority religion.>>
I never called for violence against non-hindus as a means of solving this problem. All I am saying is to treat Hindus as equals to Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and other minorities.
<<You must raise your voice against injustice not call India and Indians inhumane.>>
There is nothing wrong in calling Nazi Germany inhuman. That does not mean Germans are inhuman. Likewise Gandhi India is inhuman.
<<Take some action, write to the PM, President, CM or anyother person. Voice your opinion. Highlight these issues in INDIACAUSE.>>
The PM is more interested in his next bottle of whisky. He cant even walk, what can he possibly do. That is why I am holding a mirror to Gandhian Indians and showing their inhumanity in the hope that a few of them might change their wicked ways and become good human beings.
