All around the world Hinduism is becoming more popular. I am not talking about the West. For example there is such a great rise in Hinduism in Indonesia that as of now there are more Hindus in Indonesia than Bali itself. Compare that with Indian Hindus who claim Vjapayee as their leader. What does Vjapayee do? Pump in money so that Muslims can go to Suadi Arabia every year for Haj. All this while Hindus in India are starving to death. Shame on Indian Hindus. Learn from the Hindus outside India...

I wanted to draw the attention of list members to the following article that estimates 10s of thousands of conversions to Hinduism in eastern and central Java, Kalimantan, Sulavesi etc., in Indonesia in the last few decades. The article reveals that Java now has
more Hindus than Bali. Bali has a population of approx 2.5 to 3 million people of which more than 80% are Hindus. This means that Java itself probably has more than 2 million Hindus now.

The reason attributed is the renaissance of indigenous traditions wherein Indonesians think that becoming Hindu would help them to retain their original culture, whereas Islam is bent on rooting out their indigenous culture.
