I think more than the space exploration we should try to eliminate poverty and try to teach masses about our culture and religion.

One cannot compare China with India.

China is a communist (pseudo-communist) totalitarian dictatorship, bent on economic development, where no opposition is allowed, including Muslims, missionaries and media.

In long term race India will win. China has no financial infrastructure. Chinese currency has been artificially kept low in international market. US corporations invest in China to take advantage of cheap labour and make money out of it.
