This is clearly a Biblical teaching: Cain was "of" that Wicked one and the fallen angels seducing the "humans" produced evil giants. They may be smart enough to turn themselves into "angels of light" and thus appear somewhat normal.

The Book of Enoch which is quoted by Jesus, Peter and Jude about 128 times identifies them as the Babylonian version of the Lamech family of Jubal, Jabal, Tubal-Cain and Naaman (the enchantress). The Nephilim---who were they? The LXX translates it "giants;" other old Greek versions, "violent men." The word occurs again only once--in Numbers 13:33. The notion that the Nephilim of this passage in Numbers were lineral descendants of those of Genesis 6 is simply an unproved assumption (like the translation of the verb "psallo" by M.C. Kurfees from the "harp" to the "heart strings"),of the destructive critics, obviously for the purpose of casting doubt on the authenticity of the text and perhaps of the entire narrative of the Flood.

The "giants" of Numbers were Canaanites, men "of great stature and powerful frame," whose size so excited the imagination of the "spies" sent out by Moses (Calec and Joshua excepted) that their report was a gross exaggeration of the facts. Read again 1 Sam. 17:4-10, 21:9, 22:10). Just how could the Nephilim reported by the spies have been descendants of those of antediluvian times if there had occured in the meantime a casastrophe which had swept away all mankind except Noah and his family?

The idea that the Nephilim were a superhuman race sprung from the explicit declaration that the Nephilim existed before such marriages took place as well as after. No new species of creatures can be intended, therefore, whose orgin is traced to the intermarriage of different orders of beings? How can one find in Scripture that the Nephilim existed before and after the intermingling of the sons of God with the daughters of men? I will say this: A question of some import arises at this point, namely, Were the Nephilim of a pre-Adamic breed? Certainly this is not to be regarded as an impossibility. If so, we must leave the question open, in view of the culture of the Pithecanthropus, the Swanscombe man, the Neanderthal and all the rest (possibly even the Cro-Magnon man who is apparently to be classed as Homo sapiens, but whose remains seem to date back to 20,000 B.C.), it seems best to regard these races as all prior to Adam's time, and not involved in the Adamic covenant.

Who is the "wicked community of Genesis 6:1-7?
The opening verses of Genesis 6 paint a dismal picture of human degration. One manifestation of the corruption of the race was the laxness regarding marriage. The identification of the "sons of God" in 6:1 is problematic. Are they angels, or are they kings?
The best interpretation is tha the "sons of God" are descendants of Seth. The marriage standards among the Sethities began to erode is clear. The "sons of God" married indiscriminately for they married the daughters of men, i.e., woman from the linf of Cain who did not share the spiritual values of the Sethites. They married superficially for their attraction to these women was based on the sole fact that they were "fair." They married polygamously, "whomsoever they chose" (NASB).

I will sum up the "giants" of Genesis 6:3,7 in this way: The Great Judge pronounces sentence against his creatures. There are three aspects to the proclamation: (1) "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever" (6:3). God will not continue to let his Spirit execerise the restraining influence hitherto exerted upon sin. According to 1 Peter 3:18-20 the Spirit of Christ, through the instrumentality of the pious patriachs, preached to the disobedient spirits of the old world. (2). "His days shall be 120 years" (6:3), i.e., there would be a grace period to the pouring out of judgment. (3) "I will blot out man whom I have created" (6:7).

Other creatures tied to the face of the earth will suffer the same fate. PLEASE NOTE: The fact that angels are not subject to punishment here confirms the interpretation given to the phrase "sons of God" in 6:1.

With a little study, I think you may be able to discern that Angels can be punished here on earth and the fallen angels were.

In fact they were bound and put into the earth!

I have studied the theory that the marriage of the "sons of God" and the "daughters of men" were formed by supernatural beings with mortal women, and from these unnatural unions there arose "a race of heroes or demigods who must have figured largely in Hebrew folklore.
It is implied, though not expressly said, that the existance of such beings, intermediate between the divine and the human, introduced an element of disorder into the Creation which had to be checked by the special interposition of Yahweh.

W. H. Green, in his book, "The Unity of the Book of Genesis". (Scribners, 1895) wrote: "The sons of God are not angels nor demigods, whose intermarriage with the daughters of men brought forth a race of monsters or superhuman beings. This purely mythological conceit was foisted upon the passage in certain apocryphal books like the book of Enoch; also by Philo and Josephus, who were misled by the analogy of ancient heathen fables. But it was repelled by the great body of Jewish and Christian interpreters from the earliest scholars. It is assumed by them that a transgression of angels is here spoken of, though the existance of angels has not been a part of Genesis."

Green goes on to write, and I must agree, "This view has no sanction whatever in Scripture. Jude, vs. 6,7, and
11 Peter 2:4 have been tortured into sustaining it; but they contain no reference to this passage whatever. And there is no analogy anywhere in the Bible for adoption by the sacred writers of mythological notions in general, or for the idea in particular of the intermarriages of angels with men."

I note that later Judaism and almost all the earliest ecclesiastical writers identify the 'sons of God' with the fallen angels; but from the 4th century onward, as the ideas of angelic natures became less material, the Fathers commonly take 'sons of God' to be Seth's descendants and the 'daughters of men' those of Gain."

To quote Green once again (p. 54): "Sexual relations are knowhere in Scripture attributed to superior beings. There is no suggestion that angels are married or given in marriage; indeed the contrary is expressly declared by Jesus in Matthew 22:30. Male and female deities have no place in the Bible, except as a heathen notion which is uniformly reprobated. The Hebrew language does not even possess a word for 'goddess.'

In my mind, the whole conception of sexual life, as connected with God or angels, is absolutely foreign to Hebrew thought, and for that reason cannot be supposed to be countenanced here. The phrase, "sons of God," is a common designation of the chosen people, the worshipers of the living an true God throughout the Old Testament.
Please note: Exod. 4:22; Deut. 14:1; 32:5,6,18,19; Hos. 1:10, 11,1; Isa. 43:6, 45:11; Jer. 31:20, cf. 11 Cor. 6:18), whereas worshipers of false gods are spoken of as sons and daughters of those gods (e.g., Num. 21:29, Mal. 2:11). To me, this is very important in exegesis of the text.

I can sum up my thoughts on this study in this way:
It is in entire accord with the Biblical usage that the pious race (Seth's), who adhered to the true worship of God, are called the sons of God in contrast with the descendants of Cain, who had gone out from the presence of Jehovah, and abandoned the seat of His worship entirely. When reading Scripture, note the numerous passages throughout the Pentateuch in which intermarriage of Israelites with Canaanites is viewed with deep concern, if not actually forbidden, lest the former should be seduced into idolatry, or into the gross moral corruption of the Cult of Fertility, as a consequence. (E.g., in Genesis 24:2-4, 27:46. 28:1-2, 26:34; 28:6-8 and ch 34). Obviously any kind of warning against intermarriage with angels does not occur in Scripture, because it would have ben meaningless.

I think we'd also probably agree Black is Black and White is White. I'm not as easily swayed to make the a = b = c = xyz agruments I often see offered by others (much more by Ken than you). I disagree with many of your conclusions, especially about contemporary conspiracies, but I don't doubt you have the best of intentions and neither do I doubt your intelligence.

As for being defective, since we live in a world where sin has entered I believe, in some sense, all of nature has felt the effects and God's perfect creation has been made defective.

Yes, I'd describe my 6th finger as a defect (my parents had a Doctor remove it when I was an infant). I'm not convinced my extra finger or the giants' were the result of genetic differences brought about by angelic beings procreating with humans.

For me, Jesus' answer to the Sadducees in Matthew 22:23-33 seems to reveal angels do not have gender. However, there have been legions of individuals who believe/d certain OT passages indicate some angels procreated. I don't see that as a necessary inference but good men/women have disagreed and it did not fundamentally alter their view of God, Scripture or salvation.

They tried to get Jesus to BOW while the clergy PIPED but He refused and they killed Him. With a little study you will find that Jesus spoke in parables because it was prophecied that He would do so: Psalms 78:2-4....I will save you the trip into Pslams and give you the Scripture, I don't want you to fall over the string instruments in the Book. Again Kenny, the reason WHY Jesus spoke in "parables."

When Jesus sent the "twelve disciples out to preach two by two, that the kingdom of heaven was at hand" (Matthew 10), did they preach in parables? Why not Kenny..? After all, they preached what Jesus had instructed them to preach....and it was not in parables, the Jew knew of their preaching.... Can you hear the disciples now...."The kingdom of heaven is at hand, and there will be no piano playing because it will cause the anti's to misinterpret the parables....."

Kenneth, now is the time for you to get away from the "Flute girls, and the dancing nymphs, learn what Jesus taught the men who would "turn the world upside down" with their preaching. Jesus spoke in parables so the Hebrew nation would not know who He was. If they had known, Time would have ended on the 4th day not on the 6th day, and the Gentiles would not have their chance.

Here are a few verses to prime your study pump. The question is "Do you believe what the bible says" or do you listen to man's attempt to explain the Truth away? Do you seek the Truth or do you want someone to help you fell comfortable with God?

Jesus warned us that this world would be as in the days of Noah, at His Second Coming. Do you explain away the Truth and make Jesus a lier, just so you can fell comfortable with God? The coC doctrine of "do all you can, then Jesus will make up for the rest" has lead many to explain away the Truth, to make Jesus a lier, but He is NOT.

So way do we need to know the Truth about the End Times? Because Jesus said that the things we will see come upon the Earth at His second coming will cause the hearts of men to fail. If it is bad enough to make your heart fail, because you don't know the Truth, then you will be decieved to believe a lie and will be damned. These are not my words, but Paul's in II Thess. 2.

Let’s start in the beginning: The Genius 6 giants. Many Theologist try to skirt by the truth of this subject by falsely teaching that the verse 2 “sons of God” were the decedents of Cain. The “sons of God” in Genius 6 are the same “sons of God” as those in Job 1:6, they are Angels. The reason angels are called the “sons of God” is because God created all the Angels, thus they are the sons of God.

The KJV bible give some information on Giants. Here are some of the verses. For those that believe it is impossible for a spiritual being to have offspring through a human, do you not realize that if this not possible, then Jesus is not God? Mary did not realize how such a thing could happen, but happen it did. God became a man through a woman. Granted, it is a huge mystery, but we are called to believe it. It was not spelled out in Genesis 3:15, but somehow the "Seed" from this fallen woman, Eve, would crush the head of the serpent. Arthur Custance, in his Doorway Paper titled "The Seed of the Woman" does a good job of explaining how God preserved pure seed in Eve, even through the fall, that would later be used to bring forth the Messiah. It is not too hard to believe that the devil's fallen angels figured out how God would do this and they tried to defeat Him by copying His methods. They always copy.

There is a passage in Daniel 2 that hints at what happened in Genesis 6. Daniel 2:43 says that "they" will mingle with the seed of men, but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. Just who is this "they" that is contrasted with the seed of men, and why do they want to mingle with men? In the vision Daniel is interpreting, the iron attempts to mix with clay. What does the clay represent? Is it not "the seed of men"? So what does the iron (and the three other metals in the image)represent? They represent the spiritual forces behind the world empires. Why does "the Stone cut out without hands" strike the image on the feet and toes where the mixing of iron with clay takes place? Why does the Stone not strike the image on the head of gold, topple it over and then grind it to powder? It (He, Jesus) most certainly could have. The image is struck on the feet for a reason, and I believe it is a parallel to what happened in Genesis 6 and the flood which came afterward. The incarnation of a God/man is holy and not to be copied. Any copy is judged.

As far as Jesus not hiding things in parables, both sides in this argument are right to a certain extent. Jesus gave parables that hide things in open sight. You have to have ears to hear before you can see anything about the kingdom of God from the parables. The example of the scribes and pharisees knowing that He had spken a parable about them is kind of misleading, because although they understood the parable, these scribes and pharisees did not get anything out of the parable except rebuke and rejection. There are many parables and "hidden messages" in the scriptures that are not obvious at first. It's just like being with someone you know very well. Over time you get to know how that person relates one thing with another, what kind of expressions they use in different situations, and how they name things. How many of you fathers would give your daughter a make-up kit marketed as "Freddy Kruger cosmetics"? Or give your son an "Adolf Hitler" shaving kit? Why in the world then, would God want us to worship Him with music, and then proceed to have musical instruments denoted in the bible by words with the kind of vile and defiling meanings that are used there to denote musical instruments? This is a form of a parable. Put the object alongside the meaning of it's name, with all of it's associations.
Numbers 25:14-15 has a messge in it, even though many will claim that they understand it's meaning from a surface reading. One day I was in the book of Numbers and had read about Balak's dread of the approaching Israelites. He hired Balaam to curse them, but Balaam was forced to bless them instead. Since Balaam wanted to get paid, he slipped hints into his prophecies that told Balak how to get Israel to become vulnerable. Get Israel to fall into iniquity and become weak (Numbers 23:21). They did this by tempting the Israelite men with young Moabite women and getting them to join in their idolatrous worship rites, which included sex. 24,000 Israelites fell to this ploy. I read through chapter 25 and tried several times to go on to chapter 26, but my eyes kept going back up the page to the name Zimri in 25:14. After 3 or 4 tries I decided that maybe the Lord was trying to tell me that I should stop and see what is going on with this Zimri guy. He was one of 24,000 to sin in this matter. Why was he singled out for mention? Why were his and the Midianite woman's family ties recorded? Was it because they were from prominent families? Because they were so brazen in their actions? I felt led to look at what Zimri's name means in Hebrew. After finding out it means "musical" I had a feeling I knew where this all was heading. Below is the list of the names in Numbers 25:14-15 along with their meanings.

Zimri - "musical"
  Salu   -  "weighed" (in the sense of HANGING UP
or SUSPENDING a set of scales.
The word 'selah' in the psalms
is closley related, and means
to suspend or stop an activity
to meditate on [mentally weigh]
something.)
Simeon   -   "hearing"

Midian   -   "strife or contention"

This passage seems like a simple genealogy in an English translation. But to someone who knows Hebrew, and the meaning of the names, it spells out a clear message, especially when viewed in the context of the Moabites efforts to keep the children of Israel out of the promised land. Music suspends your hearing and gets you involved with a false rock (strength, refuge, foundation) ,and with strife, and contention. This discovery confirms what many other scriptures say.(Job 21:12, Isaiah 5:11-14, Ezekiel 33:30-33, Amos 5:21-24 & 6:3-8, along with others) So, this passage in Numbers is not only an example of a parable that hides truth, it also has to do with the topic of music in the bible. It is significant that the plague among the Israelites was not checked until Phineas nailed "music" and "falsehood" to the ground with his spear.

Mark 12:25 For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

God created angels without the need or ability to procreate. They do not have seed in them to produce offspring, nor the creative power to produce it. With God, on the other hand, all things are possible.

Your right God did create all the Angels; We are made of clay but God created the Angels from fire, but Angels don't procreate because there are no Female Angels. That is why Eve was a surprize to the Angels, they did not know what a woman was. Genusis 6 tells us that Angels are male.

Most people I talk to about this ask "Where is the evidence". Well good question. But would it really matter? There are a few on this web site that skeletons of giants would not matter. They still would come up with something to justify their comfort belief. But for those that are sitting on the fence of wanting to believe the bible or not, go to youtube and search "giant human skeletons" you can spent all day watching video on Giant Human Skeleton finds.

Now if preachers and teachers at your church are scared of this truth, then what else are they lying about? From what I have learn, they lie about a lot. You are a lot better off running from them and asking the Holy Spirit to teach you.
