Four reason God made sex
I started pondering this issue years ago when my children were not yet teenagers. The issue of Sex is a very deep subject that we need to spend a great among of time on yet we do not even spend a minute on it. One sign that this is a very important gift, God gave us is how Satan uses sex in his kingdom. Satan not only uses sex as a trap to lure people away from God, but also in worshipping him. The most obvious reason is for reproduction, which is a deep subject that we have a tendency to overlook, but it is the one reason that we feel a need to talk to our kids about sex. We do not need to talk to them about sex we need to teach them about sex, but first we got to teach adults because we aint got a cute either. One Wednesday night while sitting in my 10-13 year old kids class, the teacher ask the class to write down one question each that they have about dating and love. To my amazement they did, and there where some very deep questions. One question that I felt the teacher dropped the ball on was Give me another reason not to have premarital sex other than God said not to. At first the statement other than God said not to flew all over me, but I thought this is a good question.
If all we want to do is scare our kids into obedience, like our church forefathers did us, then the statement Cause God said not to will do. But if youre tried of obeying God because youre scared to death of Him, and cant understand why Satan is still having his way with you, I have Good News. It is because we really do not understand the true relationship between the children (us) and the Father (God). We do need to understand why God says, not to do. This not to say we need God to justify Himself, but to help us understand the power we have as the Bride of Christ. If we do not understand the power then we cannot use it, and if we cannot use it then we cannot defeat Satan when he attacks. I always thought there were three reasons God made sex. However, as I see into the Spirit World, I have realized there are four reasons God made sex. I will give you the four reasons in chronological order then explain them.
1. It is what marries us.
2. Reproduction.
3. It is what keeps a husband and wife together.
4. It is a window into the Spirit World.
When we think of a marriage ceremonies, we think of several different types i.e. Church, Justice of the Peace, or some little commercial chapel. However, show me one of these man made ceremonies in the Bible, no these were set up so the government can make money off of weddings. Well our Jewish Brothers will point to a Jewish ceremony, but keep that in mind we will come back to it. Part of the Jewish Ceremony is sexual intercourse. For it is sexual intercourse, that marries us, it is what makes two become one flesh. This is why God said not to do this until you are ready to marry.
1 Corinthians 6:12-20 12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. 14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. 15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Ephesians 5:21-33 21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so the wives to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife that she reverence husband.
Genesis 24:64-67
And Rebekah lifted up her eyes and when she saw Isaac she lighted off the camel. For she said unto the servant, What man this that walketh in the field to meet us: And the servant said, it my master: therefore she took a vail, and covered herself. And the servant told Isaac all things that he had done. And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarahs tent, and took Rebekah and she became his wife: and he loved her: and Isaac was comforted after his mothers.
Reproduction is an obvious reason, but have you considered the significant of reproduction. This is one of the things that we are made in the image of God, we can create. Angels can not reproduce. Angels did not know sex until God created Man. Genesis 6:1-4 Tells us about the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they fair and they took them wives of all which they chose. Some false teacher try to say these were the blood line of Seth. Job tells us who the sons of God are; Angels. The book of Enoch tells us there were two hundred fallen angels that married the daughters of man (had sexual intercourse) and started the blood line of the Nephilim or Giant. God told Satan in Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise the head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. You see, Satan was trying to breed the human out of the earth to keep Christ off the Cross. God put a stop to this plan and flooded the earth, but Satan tried it again because David and his brothers kill off the Giants in II Samuel 21:18-22. Just a side note: Jesus said about His second coming, it will be as in the days of Noah, it bears studying the times of Noah.
God gave us sex as a gift to keep a man and a woman together. Consider the different between human sexuality and animal sexuality. Animals have seasons of sex for the purpose of reproduction; humans have sex for reproduction and also pleasure. We do not have a season to have sex, unless you consider winter time, we seem to be closed up together more, and we do not do it just for reproduction. God gave us this very strong sexual drive and then regulated it with laws. We are only to have sex with our spouse. We are not to withhold sex from our spouse, less Satan is given opportunity. We are not even to be separated very long less Satan is given opportunity. These laws and all Gods laws are not given to oppress us, but to protect us, because sex is what God uses to keep a man and a woman together. Think about 3 women: Your mother, your sister, and your wife. All three are to be in your life till death. Your mother and your sister are because they are blood from birth, but your wife is not blood from birth, yet she is with you till death. So what is the difference between mama, sista and wify: SEX. Sex, if used Gods way, is the reason you and your wife want each other till death. I know there are other human reasons that factor in also, but it is Gods reason, and this is why He protects it with Laws and that He hates divorce.
The main number one reason God gave us sex, is so we can see our relationship with HIM. We, through Adam, forfeited our blood from birth relationship with God, and there is but one way I can get back with Him, to be in His presence, and that is MARRIAGE. I am a New Creator, because I am married to His Son. I am no longer a fallen creator of Adam, but a New Creator, the bride of Jesus. God does not look at me, He cant I have an earthy father, I was born in the line of Adam I am a fallen creator separated from God. When Adam did not redeem Eve, but fell in sin with her, Satan thought he had won. But then God told Satan you fell into My trap, because you will bruise My Sons heel, but He well bruise your head. So now I, a fallen creature of Adam, am back in the presence of the Father, because of the works of His Son, my Husband. THANK YOU JESUS!
Just like a Hebrew wedding my Husband has left to prepare us a place, and because this old world is 6000 years old, He is about to return to get me. We will have our Marriage Supper which He will burn all my sin away on the Floor as of a sea of glass that is mingled with fire. Then we will come back, defeat Satan and reign for a 1000 years. All because the Son needed a bride, and the Father arranged a bride for His Son. Thank you Father and Son and thank you Holy Spirit for keeping me till His return.
