But, Scripture never says that Jesus is NOT God
|February 1 2016, 10:36 AM |
No Scripture says, "He who believes that Jesus is God or is not God shall lose his soul."
No Scripture says, "He who believes that Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are the Trinity or are one-in-three or three-in-one shall lose his soul."
Sorry about that reading!! Paul prophesied of EXACTLY the period surrounding the year 2000 which fits the pattern defined by Moses where the original elohim created, bara which also means CAST DOWN fitting the record of the Sumerians exactly. That was when Lucifer the singing and harp-playing prostitute was "Cast as profane (chalal, halal) out of heaven.
Over and over the text defines ONE GOD Who is SPIRIT and one Son who is NOT. Trinitarian is therefore not so much the SIN but is the MARK of those OF the World or the Ecumenical ruled over by Apollon defining the SERVICE of the Levites to the END of the cycle where "progressives" have used the Levite SERVICE as their PATTERN.
There are THREE actors in the Loop: Only ONE is God the Father, One Mediator Jesus made Christ and each Disciple of Christ. Jesus mediates: He supplies the ONLY resource that a Church of Christ WILL WANT to use, and He confesses us to the Father when we confess by prayer and "Speaking that which is written for our learning."
1John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ?
He is ANTICHRIST, that denieth
the Father AND the Son.
Spirit is not mentioned because SPIRIT is the Mind of Christ written for our learning: Spirit is BREATH which flows between Father and Son: it does not flow for merchants of their own songs and sermons.
Jesus of Nazareth was not Lord and Christ until God MADE Him to be:
Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God HATH MADE that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
ANTICHRISTS or Trinitarians say that Jesus was BOTH fully God and fully Flesh. God did not come in the flesh but Jesus Did.
1John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit OF antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
(Dr. William Smith's Dictionary of the Bible, 1872)
APOLLYON. The Greek name, meaning "Destroyer," given in Revelation 9:11 for "the angel of the bottomless pit" (in Hebrew called Abaddon), also identified as the king of the demonic "locusts" described in Revelation 9:3-10...In one manuscript, instead of Apollyon the text reads "Apollo," the Greek god of death and pestilence as well as of the sun, music, poetry, crops and herds, and medicine. Apollyon is no doubt the correct reading. But the name Apollo (Gk Apollon) was often linked in ancient Greek writings with the verb apollymi or apollyo, "destroy." From this time of Grotius, "Apollyon" has often been taken here to be a play on the name Apollo. The locust was an emblem of this god, who poisoned [sorcery, pharmakea, Odes] his victims, and the name "Apollyon" may be used allusively in Revelation to attack the pagan god and so indirectly the Roman emperor Domitian, who liked to be regarded as Apollo incarnate.
One of our defuncto preachers claims that He is the authoritative teacher claiming the role Jesus resumed when He returned on Pentecost. He cannot even quote the text straight.
2 Thess 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means:
for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first,
and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
684. apoleia, ap-o´-li-a; from a presumed derivative of 622; ruin or loss (physical, spiritual or eternal): — damnable(-nation), destruction, die, perdition, x perish, pernicious ways, waste.
622 apollumi, ap-ol´-loo-mee; from 575 and the base of 3639; to destroy fully (reflexively, to perish, or lose), literally or figuratively: — destroy, die, lose, mar, perish.
2Th. 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Naos is the temple meaning any holy place.
Apollon is the "god of light" and the progressive preachers do not grasp that SPIRITUS personified points to Apollon-Abaddon: the king over the locusts or MUSES who are sqarming all over once-faithful schools and churches. Jesus came as LIGHT OF THE WORLD: if you are working your heart out and spending money trying to FIND THE LIGHT, congratulations, Apollo has landed.
H. Leo Boles Originated the three people Godhead

The Question: when did some churches of Christ adopt the Trinity fallacy?
The dogma of a three person "godhead" was exposed in a lecture at FHU in 1938 by H. Leo Boles of Lipscomb and the Gospel Advocate. It was published by the Gospel Advocate in 1942 in 1942 and became the creed replacing the Bible in Sunday Schools around the SE. Here are some of the statements still the "scholarly" resource for all sermons and books teaching what John defined as the mark of Antichrist.
The real issue is how they can claim that Jesus was-is God and still RANK the "godhead" 1,2, 3 in ability and in time.
The David Young creed is that Jesus was fully God and fully man.
However, God says that He was not a man nor the son of man.
Jesus said that he was the SON and a man and the son of man.
Jesus debunked the idea that He was a spirit.
He said that God is a Spirit and does not have flesh and bones
Jesus said that He consisted of flesh and bones lk 24:39
To say that Jesus was SPIRIT claims that He was God (Jehovah) and calls Him a liar.
That is why John said that denying the One God and One Lord Jesus is the mark of Antichrist.
Here are some concepts invented by H. Leo Boles and accepted because preachers rarely depend on "that which is written for our learning."
H. Leo Boles: The three are distinctly (clearly, sharply, plainly) separate beings (persons, mankind, humanity, man, mortality). However, they are one (single, sole, solitary, unique) because they share the same purposes, intentions and desires. The Godhead is one in the same way that a husband and wife are one (Mal 2:14-15) (H. Leo Boles in Sept. 1, 1966, p. 2, Fall Quarter, Foundations, Gospel Advocate.)
Christ is the only member of the Godhead that has been clothed in flesh. Their Standing (status or rank) is always first, second and third. Boles, H. Leo, The Holy Spirit, Gospel Advocate P. 20.
God means THEE DIVINE NATURE: Jesus as the Christ was filled with the Divine Nature as are all Disciples of Christ.
The Godhead is thus composed of three coeternal and coequal persons; they are the same in nature and essence (basic stuff), but are different, (discrete, dissimilar, diverse) personalities (selfhood as a human). (Each is fitted for different roles.)
The Divine Family... suggests the close relation that exists between the members of the Godhead, and also that they constitute a family (clan, kith, lineage, race); it suggest that they are closely related, that they are akin. (relatives, same lineage, same tribe) This term expresses an interest in each other and a cooperation (teamwork, collaboration, partnership) in activities. P. 21
The Holy Spirit was present in the beginning... the plural means that there was a plurality (majority) of divine beings.
The plural applies to Genesis 1 which is the account of the "casting down" by the Elohim. Chapter 2 defines the LORD GOD which means "Jehovah as the only TRUE Elohim." Moses was writing for an abandoned to worship the starry host (Babylonianism) AFTER they fell into instrumental and Trinitarian and perverted worship (Romans 1)
The Holy Spirit as a member (limb, branch, leg) of the Godhead is associated in all divine acts with God and the Word. Such association and relationship (family tie) necessarily imply a likeness (similarity, resemblance) in nature and similarity in attributes (qualifications, character). Boles, H. Leo, The Holy Spirit, Gospel Advocate P. 31
Personality in God is the sum total of the infinite attributes resident in the inmost depth of his one divine nature;
the three persons in the Godhead are the three individualities (distinctiveness),
the three personal centers of consciousness,
the three separate (apart, divided, independent, disconnected, distinct) self-conscious and self-determining (self-deciding) persons or selves. P. 33
Christ, the Word, is the agent (deputy, broker through whom God created all things; the Holy Spirit gives life, enacts laws, and organizes (establish, institute, construct) the material universe. Creation was not finished (full-fledged, done) until the third member of the Godhead functioned.
The Scriptures clearly teach that both Christ and the Holy Spirit derived (borrowed, used, second-hand) their deity from the Father as the fountainhead (primal source), and so they are subordinate (inferior, minor, lower, subservient) to him; however, such derivation of deity and subordination do not by any means involve any quality (trait, mark) of deity.
The Father's fullness of deity is absolutely dependent (subservient, reliant) upon the Son's deity and the deity of the Holy Spirit; their dependence upon the Father for the derivation (origin, beginning, source) of their deity is no greater than the Father's dependence (subordination, need of, subservience) on their dependence. (Mutual begetting from all eternity)
These (three) members, (parts, components, divisions, portions) of the Godhead held a council (committee meeting) at the creation of man; they are divine, one in substance, purpose, and design;
yet they are three distinct (different, disunited, dispersed) persons
and (distinct) function (capacity, utility) in the work of creation.
There is a close analogy between the material realm and the spiritual. God is the Originator, Creator, and Supreme Ruler of the material universe; the Word is the agent (broker) through whom all things were made; the Holy Spirit is the organizer, the life imparter, lawgiver, and guide of the material realm. Boles, H. Leo, The Holy Spirit, Gospel Advocate P. 46H. Leo Boles, Gospel Advocate, p. 46
Each member of the Godhead has had his dispensation (management, regulation, laws, supervision, direction) with man on earth. A dispensation as used here means an epoch of time well marked by certain events; it means a system of principles, promises, rules ordained and administered during a certain period of time Boles, H. Leo, The Holy Spirit, Gospel Advocate P. 51
He (Spirit) takes the lead (first, primary, front, head) during this age as a member of the Godhead. The Holy Spirit took up the work where Christ left it (incomplete) and carries it on to completion and to its final consumation. The Spirit age, so far as revelation instructs us, is the last dispensation. Boles, H. Leo, The Holy Spirit, Gospel Advocate P. 53

Granting, as I once heard, they didn't offer much of the prophets "when I passed through" anyone who can read Acts 7 and Stephen's summary; or I Corinthians 10 where they rose up to play as our EXAMPLE or Romans 10 where Paul debunked the Jew's claim to predestination or divine favor by reciting the Mount Sinai idolaltry, and think that IMPOSING their preference by virtue of being lifted up with pride because the elders "called him back" cannot, as Paul in Ephesians 4 described, just innocently ignorant but they are LYING IN WAIT TO DECEIVE.
By simple deduction when the dominant preachers works really hard to fill in the "worship observation to which the kingdom does not come" is deliberately trying and making the lambs dumb before the slaughter. No "scholar" will find any recorded exception to:
Aristotle: Melody Deceives: "Poets also make use of this in inventing words, as a melody "without strings" or "without the lyre"; for they employ epithets from negations, a course which is approved in proportional metaphors..
The form of diction should be neither metrical nor without rhythm.
If it is metrical, it lacks persuasiveness, for it appears artificial, and at the same time it distracts the hearer's attention, since it sets him on the watch for the recurrence of such and such a cadence..
According to Philo, the gods of the pagans exploit this weakness of men. For the sake of a better effect, and with the intention of more easily cheating their devotes, that they have set their lies to melodies, rhythms and meters.
God provided a way of escape by NOT supplying anything which you can sing in a tuneful sense. So, you have to use your vain imagination if you are going to "transistion" YOUR congregation to the NACC.
