Type The Virginian in the Search box and you'll find the episodes to be broadcast through to the end of March.
In Feb and March 'The Virginian' is slated for two weekends out of four each month (5th and 19th). So Hallmark appears to be cutting back on episodes broadcast. I've noticed they're producing more new original Hallmark movies - even producing a new series of 'Mystery Movies' to replace the 70's Universal shows they repeated last year. So if they have the nine seasons it's going to take forever to broadcast them.
I am not a happy camper! This does not look good! I hope they do not stop airing this series. I have all of season 1 give or take 2 or 3 and all but 6-8 of season 2 and about 60% of season 3 recorded. I guess if it stops airing I will have to buy some from those who offer them. That will take forever too because I will have to buy slowly because there are so many episodes left. Does anyone know if Lonestar still airs the show? I have an email buddy that lives in Canada. Maybe I could make so type of arrangement with her.
I have been taping the series, also. Now it seems I will never be able to get the whole series on tape! It would be nice if Hallmark would start showing 3 new shows each week instead of the 1 new show and the 2 previous shows we have already seen several times. With such interest in 'The Virginian' you would think some company would get the idea to release the series on DVD. I wish, I knew who to contact to get this done.
Universal Home Video own the rights to 'The Virginian'. They released a few videos featuring Virginian and Men From Shiloh episodes (plus Alias Smith & Jones in the same boxed sets) in the UK a few years ago, but have released nothing in the USA.
It's about time they got their act together. They obviously sold well enough in the UK to merit a second boxed set but not well enough to merit more releases.
Here lately the Hallmark channel has not been showing The Virginian on the weekend or any other western show. I really love this show and would buy it in a minute. I wish they would put it on DVD here in the USA. How would a person request it and who would they make a request to? I love this show.
I live in Canada and they showed the whole eight season every day except week-ends. I started taping when They started the fourth season and when they started season one I taped that too but the show went off the air after the last show of the ist season. I wanted to tape 2nd and 3rd season but they canceled they show and I'm heartbroken, do you know where I can write to let them know we want it back on the air.

I don't live in Canada so I don't know which channel it was being played on but you they should have a website.
I email the hallmarkchannel.com from time to time to tell them how much I enjoy the saturday westerns programing in hopes that they keep showing the westerns and to let them know there are people interested in them.
