I was once told that James Drury was born in Ireland. Most sources state that he was born in New York. Is the claim that he was born in Ireland without foundation.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Mr. Drury was born in New York, Manhattan Island. His father's family is from Ireland and he has a lot of relatives still there. He is looking forward to a proposed trip to Ireland in June of 2008 to see his family and friends.

Where in Ireland are James relatives from as i live in Northern Ireland?

The Drury family is from County Roscommon in the Province of Connacht, which to my knowledge is in Central Ireland.
