MOUTHFUL MULBERRY MUFFINS ~

RECEPIE IN CAPITAL LETTERS I noticed that there are alot of purplish spots on the street and sidewalk under the trees today. Can it be? I eagerly check and find purplish black berries lying amidst the spots. YES :^{p THE MULBERIES ARE RIPE AND FALLING. I'm overjoyed. I remember a Mulberry Workshop I had. We ended up with a whole meal and everything was made with Mulberrys.
TO COLLECT THEM ~ I get some narrow necked Kool Ade containers because if they fall over they don't spill many berries, and they hold about 3 Cups of Mulberries each. I then got an old sheet or two remembering Mulberries stain ~ to put under the branches before I shake them to catch the falling Mulberries. Yes ~ I do pick up alot of Mulberries from the ground and search on and through the grass for them.
NEVER collect Mulberies that do not fall when tapped if on the tree.
REMEMBER ~ Put all the collected Mulberrys in a small bowl to CHECK THEM carefully before use so only Mulberries go into your recepie not grass, leaves, twigs, dirt and other stuff. The stems are left on the Mulberrys as they are O.K. I especially like collecting Mulberries after a storm. I put some weighted sheets down before the storm to collect the Mulberries that fall during it and I also feel that the energy of the storm is added to the Mulberrys. Now that I have coilected the Mulberrys it is time to cook with them. Then MMMMmmmm

MOUTHFUL MULBERRY MUFFINS
3 CUPS MULBERRYS
3 CUPS FLOUR
2 CUPS SUGAR
1 CUP OR 12 OZ CAN EVAPORATED MILK
2 LARGE EGGS
8 TBSP. MARGARINE OR BUTTER ~ 1 STICK
2 TSP. BAKING POWER
1 TSP. VANILLA
IN A BOWL MIX TOGETHER ~ 2 CUPS FLOUR, 2 CUPS SUGAR, AND 2 TSP.BAkING POWDER. PUT ASIDE 1 CUP for use in the future time.
ADD STIRRING CLOCKWISE 2 LARGE EGGS, ONE 12 OUNCE CAN OF EVAPORATED MILK AND 1 TSP. VANILLA FLAVORING.
SLICE MARGARINE ~ BUTTER STICK INTO SMALL SECTIONS. STIR IN 6 TBSP. OF THE SLICED SOFT MARGARINE OR BUTTER. BEAT IT ALL UP REAL GENTLY UNTIL IT IS REALLY SMOOTH. A_haaah! Smoootthhh..
GENTLY MIX IN BY LIFTING AND STIRRING (Would that count as exercising your hands with your food?) 3 CUPS OF MULBERIES IN 1/2 CUP AMOUNTS.
ADD 2 TBSP. OF MARGARINE OR BUTTER AND 1 CUP OF the FLOUR you set aside for use in the future. The future is now.... TO EVERYTHING AND MIX IT UP REALLY WELL. Don't try to get too confused in the process.
LET THE MUFFIN MIXTURE SET and meditate COVERED ABIT on the meaning of being a muffin.
PREHEAT THE OVEN TO 350 DEGREES.
USING 1 FULL CAP FROM YOUR OIL CONTAINER ~ 1 TABLESPOON FOR THEM ALL ~ OIL (I use Peanut Oil because it is so nutty) EACH CUP IN THE MUFFIN TIN. MIX UP THE MUFFIN MIXTURE REAL GOOD AND FILL EACH MUFFIN CUP TO THE TOP. If any mixture is still left behind by the first batch depending on the size of your muffin tin cups make a second batch. I made 2 batches one batch at a time.
PUT THE MUFFIN TIN IN THE OVEN AT 350 DEGREES FOR 25 MINUTES. THEN CHECK THE MUFFINS AND SHUT OFF THE OVEN. LEAVE THE MUFFINS IN THE OVEN FOR 8 (4 X 2) MORE MINUTES.
REMOVE, AND LET COOL ABIT. Serve with Butter, Butter and Cinnamon, Apple Butter, Honey or anything else you feel like putting on them. Have a mouthful of Mulberry Muffins.

YUM...MULBERRIES

Hi Timeloyd, this recipe sounds good. I love mulberries but my very favorite way to eat them is right off the tree or ground after I give them a gentle rinse in the sink.
They have a very unique flavor...very mild and sweet. They are my second favorite berry, the first being red raspberries.
I love muffins too so I will try this recipe.
That's an interesting thought that energy is infused in the berries after a storm...never really thought about it but it does kinda make sense.

MULBERRY MUFFIN BREAD

I was making some Mouthful Mulberry Muffins and discovered I had run out of Evaporated Milk and so used 1 CUP OF LACTOSE FREE SOY MILK INSTEAD in the Muffins and they came out really great. That is good for anyone with lactose problems. Now if I can replace the Eggs it can be used by Vegans too.
I had made a batch of Mouthful Mulberry Muffins and was waiting to put the second batch into the Muffin Tin when I got to wondering how they would be as Mulberry Muffin Bread.
ADD 1 TSP. BAKING POWDER TO THE MOUTHFUL MULBERRY MUFFIN MIXTURE. THE OVEN SHOULD BE PREHEATED TO 350 DEGREES.
STIR THE FINISHED MIXTURE CLOCKWISE FOR POSITIVE ENERGY WITH A LIFTING STIRRING MOTION UNTIL EVERYTHINGS WELL MIXED UP. Try not to get too coinfused while doing this. Singing a song can help you prevent this from happening.
POUR THE MUFFIN MIXTURE INTO OILED (I use Peanut Oil for nuttyness) BREAD PAN.
BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 1 HOUR. CHECK IT WITH A TOOTH PICK AND LEAVE IN 8 MINUTES LONGER (thats 4 x 2).
REMOVE AND COOL ABIT. SERVE AND ENJOY.

MIGHTY MULBERRY CAKE

THE RECEPIE IS IN CAPITAL LETTERS
5 CUPS MULBERRYS
4 CUPS FLOUR
2 CUPS SUGAR
1 CUP SOY MILK
2 LARGE EGGS
8 TBSP. SOFT BUTTER
3 TSP. BAKING POWDER
1 TSP. VANILLA

In a Large Bowl but don't let it bowl you over MIX together 4 CUPS FLOUR, 2 CUPS SUGAR, AND 2 TBSP. BAKING POWDER.
STIRRING CLOCKWISE TO ADD POSITIVE ENERGY POUR IN 1 CUP SOY MILK, MIX IN 2 LARGE EGGS until they are well beaten in but don't hurt them too much. ADD 1 TSP. VANILLA flavoring for fun. MIX IT IN REAL WELL until everything is real evenly mixed up but don't get too confused.
SLICE IN 6 TBSP. STICK MARGARINE OR BUTTER. YOU CAN USE THE SAME AMOUNT OF TUB BUTTER INSTEAD. I considered using some CINNAMON FLAVORED MARGARINE in it that I had bought in a tub. That's what I most like about baking. The discovery of new ways to prepare recepies. Unlike the Mad Scientist you won't change into something else when you eat it. Your Pun here.
LIFTING PART OF THE MIXTURE POUR IN SMALL AMOUNTS ~ 5 CUPS MULBERRYS ~ LIFTING THE BATTER FROM THE BOTTOM AND STIRRING THEM INTO IT.
AFTER EVERYTHING IS BLENDED TOGETHER REAL GOOD ADD 2 TBSP. MARGARINE OR BUTTER TO THE MIX AND STIRR IT IN VERY WELL.
WHEN EVERYTHING IS BLENDED TOGETHER AND HAS A SMOOTH TEXTURE EXCEPT OF COURSE FOR SOME MULBERRYS THAT WERE NOT BLENDED IN COMPLETELY. IF ALL THE MULBERRYS WERE BLENDED IN YOU CAN STIR IN SOME MORE.
PREHEAT THE OVEN TO 350 DEGREES.
SINGING A HAPPY SONG POUR THE MULBERRY MIXTURE INTO AN OILED CAKE PAN. I USE PEANUT OIL because I feel like being nutty when I bake and I like the way it makes my baked foods taste.
BAKE IN A 350 DEGREE OVEN 45 MINUTES. CHECK THE CAKE. ( IT IS DONE WHEN THE SIDES PULL AWAY ABIT FROM THE PAN.)
TURN THE PAN AROUND. LEAVE 15 MORE MINUTES or time between 2 tv comercials which are 15 minutes apart. I usually use them to time the oven so I do not get distracted from the clock and forget the time.
Example ~ a half hour is the time between time show begins and second comercial.
COOKING TIME 1 HOUR.
REMOVE AND LET COOL while meditating on the importance of Mulberrys. SHARE AND ENJOY ;^{)

I do not put any Frosting on it because I feel Frosting effects the flavor and is to deliveer a message, meditation (spiritial type symbol on icing) like my Trekken Double Chocoolate Fudge Cake, or to hide burnt edges that pulled away from the pan to long. 'Sides I have yet to find Mulberry icing. Hmmmm..
