"I invited a friend home for supper."

"What?..." she said, "Are you crazy? The house is a mess, I haven't been shopping, all the dishes are dirty, and I don't feel like cooking a fancy meal!"

"I know all that." he replied.

"Then why did you invite him over for supper?" she asked.

He replied, "Because the poor fool's thinking about getting married."

Why wasn't I invited over for that dinner 25+ years ago?

Actually, my wife isn't anything like that, but her sister is; so reading that just cracked me up.

Now if you will excuse me, I have to clean the spit-take off my monitor, yuck!
