slow computers

Mine is having delayed actions. I type and the words don't show up for a few seconds. Going from site to site is like traveling through mud. My screen freezes up for a few seconds for no apparent reason. It isn't THAT cold here.

I can't tell if it is my cable company or my computer.

..happens to me sometimes too.......usually deleting cookies.. deleting temp files <include offline too>....delete history...do a quick lil disk claen up and defrag ..reboot usually takes care of it....
 
..run a virus/spyware scan just to be safe...adware bogs ya dont like mad sometimes...

I did run a virus check, but I had not thought about the defrag thing. I did that this morning, and it seems to be much faster today.
