Song Bird

For you, there'll be no more crying,
For you, the sun will be shining,
And I feel that when I'm with you,
It's alright, I know it's right
To you, I'll give the world
To you, I'll never be cold
'Cause I feel that when I'm with you,
It's alright, I know it's right.
And the songbirds are singing,
Like they know the score,
And I love you, I love you, I love you,
Like never before.

And I wish you all the love in the world,
But most of all, I wish it from myself.
And the songbirds keep singing,
Like they know the score,
And I love you, I love you, I love you,
Like never before, like never before.

(Fleetwood Mac)

I just sent this song to a friend on YouTube. Eva Cassidy had such a lovely voice.

Of course, the Fleetwood Mac version is great, too. It's a beautiful song with touching sentiments no matter who is singing it.

..her version is absolutely hauntingly beautiful!

I keep saying I'm going to get her cd. I think I'll see what eBay has to offer while I'm thinking about right now.

She was quite a talent. Lovely voice and could sing anything.

I was going to get one of her cd's but every song that I want is on a different cd...lol. I don't want to buy them all.
Well, that's not really true, I do want to buy them all but it would be too expensive.

If I can ever figure out how to buy itunes and put them on my ipod I will go that route.

Have you heard her version of Early Mornin' Rain? I Know You By Heart? Both of those are so good.

I will bring them over if you want me to....

Jim Cuddy Blue Rodeo

I thought you might like that song. He's a great Canadian icon. Blue Rodeo has some great music that you would probably love.
I am not real familiar with Jim Cuddy's solo stuff. I think he has a group called the Jim Cuddy Band.

Maybe Mystikshadows cam help me out here, if he's around. ???

Yes, I love that Jim Cuddy song. It's very beautiful. I read on his website that he wrote the song after spending time with his uncle that had just lost his wife of 40 years ( or something like that ) It's a very touching song and so true of those emotions.

You know, I didn't think of it when I linked the video in that thread but Songbird plays while you are trying to listen to Jim....Sorry...lol. I am a computer clutz.
