DO NOT OPEN THE MINI-BAR BAGS OF HALLOWEEN CANDY. DO NOT OPEN THEM UNTIL THE LITTLE MONSTERS AHH KIDS ARRIVE FOR TREATS.
I did so and ate over half the bag of Candy at once before I realised it..

Halloween Multi~Individual Bar bags of candy contain an invisible candy gas that smells like the candy in the bag which when the bag is opened creates a desire as you smell it to eat all the mini-candy bars in the bag. This is only with mini ~ candy bars not packages of regular size candy bars packed. I am sure that you have experienced it when you open a bag to get just 1 or 2 mini bars out of it before Halloween and then discover yourself sitting in the midst of alot of mini ~ candy bar wrappers and an empty bag of mini bars.

To PREVENT THIS from happening don't open the bag of Mini Bars before Halloween Trick or Treaters stop by.
Then only as you need it. The only way to overcome the Candy Gas is to hold your breath when near it, and keep the Candy in a Zip Lock bag. When not giving them out cover, and hide them or seal in zipp lock bags.

Regarding what kind of candy you give out ~

I had a fiend who complained trick or treaters never came by. I asked to see the kind of candy he gave out. He showed me hard candys that were probably cheap. I told him to give out candys he likes instead. That way he knows the trick or treaters will like them and if any is left over he can eat the rest the next day. :^{P

Finally two things to attract trick or treaters beside putting up some Halloween decorations.

First leave your porch lite on and screen door open if you have one.
Turn Halloween Lights / Decorations on if you have any. Most areas have a special time for the Little Monsters to Trick or Treat usually from 5 til 8 p.m. This year it's on Halloween here. Older Trickor Treaters are from then til Midnight.

Next ~ Prime the yard. What I mean by Prime The Yard is to put a few candy bar wrappers from those you are giving away near the steps, in the yard and by the street so it looks like kids were unwrapping and eating them as they left, but not too many. I toss a couple unopened candy bars near the street so they look like they were dropped while being put into a treat bag. This gives the trick or treaters an idea of the kind of candy you are giving out. 3 Musketeer, and Reeses Cup wrappers show what kind I give out to them. Don't over do it. Oh yes if you have any candy left from Easter you can slip it into the bags with the candy you are giving out so maybe the Easter �Bunny is giving out treats too so I keepsomre individual Easter andes for Halloween. I also use Lil' Debbie PUMPKIN DELIGHTS for a healthy treat. Sides they smile at you.

There is an agreement to show how to trick or treat properly.

Then after Halloween is over I spend a fantastic time eating what candy I have left over. Which is why I get lot of candy. Then there are the after Halloween candy sales. HHHMMMMmmm :^{P

HALLOWEEN CANDY PIZZA

GET A $1 TYPE PIZZA FROM THE STORE.
REMOVE WRAPPER AND PUT IT IN A DRY FRYING PAN.
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. CAN ALSO USE TOASTER OVEN THIS TEMPERTURE.
PUT SOME REESES CUPS ON THE PIZZA ARRANGING LIKE PEPPERONIS. I HAVE TRYED IT WITH 3 MUSKATEERS SLICED TOO TO TASTE.
SPRINKLE A COUPLE OF HANDS OF SHREADED ITALLIAN OR PIZZA CHEESE COMPLETELY BURYING THE CANDY so the top of the Pizza looks like a graveyard kinda.
PUT PIZZA IN THE OVEN FOR 15 MINUTES OR UNTIL THE CHEESE ON CANDY HAS MELTED. REMOVE, KOOL AND EAT.
