Young Jock McTavish from Glasgow went to study at a university in England and was living in the hall of residence. After a week his mother rang him. "How do you get along with the other students, Jock?" she asked.

"Well," he replied, "they are terribly noisy people. The one on one side keeps banging his head on the wall. The one on the other side screams all night."

"Oh Jock!" said his mother. "How do you manage to put up with such noisy neighbours?"

"I don't do anything. I just sit here quietly, playing my bagpipes!"

I think the Culinary Institute of America ate my nephew...sob....he is not returning calls or emails.

I had a tip from the other nephew that he has met a girl chef that has turned his head. Imagine that happy.gif

I hope she is a pastry chef that specializes in chocolate. happy.gif

Really, I have heard worse.

Yes, I don't think we need wedding invitations yet. At least, I hope not...lol.

He has lots of time and lots of girls to meet before he gets serious about anyone.

Still, a pastry chef would be my first choice happy.gif

LOL

The raccoons are semi frozen and sleeping it off happy.gif They don't come up to eat as much in the winter months. They don't really hibernate but they do bundle up together and try and stay warm and dry.

They are very fat from eating Ole' Roy dogfood...lol. They look like puffballs with tiny feet. They will come up and eat now and then, when the weather is not to bad, but mostly, they cuddle all winter.

I have had some minor health issues...been in and out of the Dr's office the last week and a half.
Now, I am sick with the virus that's going around.
Every time I went to the doctor's, people were coughing and hacking all over the place....sigh...

This is not good...

I think I should sue......dontcha think so?

to sue or not to sue..

December 6 2008, 10:59 AM

..that is the question. I will give you the name of my caveman lawyer. wink.gif

I was watching our local morning show and the 'health expert' recommended the following 'super foods' to keep well this winter.

1. broccoli
2. red bell peppers
3. yogurt
4. cinnamon

Ummm...there was a 5th one but I can't remember it. Drats! It's probably the key to the formula...lol.. happy.gif

I'm sending warm get well wishes to you, little birdie!

I can do everything on that list except yogurt.

I have tried, many times, to eat it in every form that it comes in....can't manage it...lol.

I am sleeping it off...I just want to get better before Christmas. We are supposed to have December Birthdays here next weekend. I am not sure how that is going to work out...lol.

The audacity of some people to be born in December...the nerve!
