It's been about 65-70 every day here in S.B.
Anyway, it's interesting we apparently like many of the same old songs. When I was really young, my mom would take me down to Santa Monica Beach, where they would film a show called Groovy. I liked of songs from that show. Dizzy, I'm Into Something Good, Cheer Up Sleepy Jean, I'm A Believer, Downtown, Mr. Tangerine man (not the one by Bill Shatner) and Sugar Sugar from a fictitious group called The Archies. The Monkees started up a fan club in the mid-1960s about the time they started their TV show. It was interesting that the number of their fan club was only one number off from the one to my Father's store, He'd answer the phone at night to screaming teenage girls asking to talk to "The Monkees." That really ticked him off. I think he had Frank Sinatra, who would come by from time to time, make the Monkees change their number. I am worried to this day that I may get the call sometime to return "The Favor." Oh well, comes with being Italian I guess.
And fired by the boss? I wouldn't worry too much about that. I figure your hubby sees you as a keeper. Now if you were married to The Donald, well, I'd suspect he tell you that if you can't stand the heat, get out of The Board Room (i.e., you're fired!) I think he let Ivanka go because she messed up his comb-over once while making out, oh well.
