Michael Jackson was a very strange and very talented man. I hope he is remembered for his music and not his eccentric and controversial life.

Charlie's Angel - Also gone too soon.

Her hair and her smile - darn near perfect!

Farrah and Michael left this planet on the same day.
They make very unlikely traveling companions.

I hope Michael Jackson finds peace on the other side of this life...he sure didn't have much while he was with us.
I wasn't a huge fan of his music but he was very talented and yes, very unique.

Farrah was an icon of my day. We all wanted her hair happy.gif I think she had a wonderful grace and dignity at the end and I admired her courage.

Blazing stars, both. [linked image]

Well...

You know I was probably one of the few teenage boys in the mid-70s that didn't have her poster hanging on my wall. (And no Blue, I didn't tape it to the ceiling over my bed, either!) In high school, a girl once asked me, "How did she get that great smile? I told her, "You'd smile like that too, if your husband was bionic." I don't think se got it, which reminds me that
I'm more attracted to intelligence in the opposite sex. My wife tells me not everyone shares my philosophical viewpoint regarding that particular topic of conversation, but I don't really get what she means by that. [linked image]

Anyway, I really liked Farah and the rest of the cast in Charlie's Angeles. Maybe it was the use of narcotics that started years ago that messed her up, wow, I wish this country would go do something about that instead of all the nonsense they are wasting our tax dollars on now. Those darn legal and illegal pharmaceutical products can be the cause of several different illnesses, including cancer. Maybe it is true that money and success do not buy happiness, but then neither does chemical abuse. I wish both of the stars in this post had figured that out before it was too late.

Oh, and as long as we are posting about stars who have recently passed away, you forgot one, Ed McMahon. Ed was a sidekick to one of my favorite entertainers of all times, Johnny Carson. Ed was also the star of his own talent show, Star Search and would probably lived several more years if it wasn't for exposure to toxic mold and that terrible neck injury he suffered; plus the fact that the "best medical doctors in the world," mistakenly sent him home with a broken neck. The lawsuit against Cedar-Sanai hospital will probably just go away now that Ed is gone and the media really didn't cover that part of his story much. It's a shame he didn't see a Chiropractor after his fall.

The Tonight Show was OK with Jay but I really miss the two above. Maybe we are just moving into that whole generation gap thing but I really feel the truly talented stars have not been replaced yet.

Johnny and Ed...

No one has ever been any better. I miss them too.

I did forget about Ed McMahon. Thanks for reminding us. I didn't know about his neck injury. It's very scary to realize how many people "mistakenly" die from hospital "mistakes" every year.

I agree about drug use too. Drug abuse, legal or illegal, is a major problem. Being a celebrity cannot be accepted as an excuse anymore. Too much money? Too much fame? They should grow up and use their money and fame for good. Some do - all should.

And, I agree with you about Chiropractors. I think it should be the law that everyone goes to one at least once a month. [linked image]

In France, they grant something like 20 visits to a Chiropractor for pregnant women...

Now Myst wants my job. All he'd have to do is go running all over France, getting women pregnant, and then collecting the 20 office visits. How about giving us that helath care plan Mr. Obama!

That ought to bring Myst back to the forum [linked image]
