Okay, had a great time with the nieces at the zoo. Polar bears, monkeys, lions, dolphins...all the normal stuff was great and lots of fun.
We were fine until we went into the dog shark exhibit. You are allowed to pet the sharks as they swim by you and they actually seem to like it.
I was petting one shark but noticed another that was in the middle of the pool staring at me. He started swimming towards me and kept coming faster and faster with his upper body out of the water and his eyes glued right on me...
He made a bee line right for me and jumped out of the water and nearly into my lap!

I jumped back, of course, and the nieces and other people around me were laughing so hard that they nearly fell into the water.
One of the pool guards came rushing over and asked if I was okay and said she had never seen one do that before.

I wonder if it's because I am a triple Pisces??? Maybe it just wanted a hug???

I think I will stick to dancing with the penguins next time.

I have a fondness for zoos. One of the first dates the boss and I went on was to the San Diego Zoo. The Phoenix Zoo is the largest non-profit zoo in the United States. It became quite famous because of an Asian Elephant named Ruby. She was on the local news a lot. "After noticing Ruby doodling in the sand with sticks, her keeper decided to give her a brush and paint. Ruby quickly became famous for her paintings, whose sales raised over $200,000 for the zoo. Art collectors all over the world joined 18-month waiting lists and paid hundreds of dollars for original prints."


If I had the money I would have bought one of her prints because some days I feel just that.

I think that print is rather pretty though. They had a few paintings hanging on the wall that a walrus created but they weren't as pretty as Ruby's. I think the elephant had an eye for color...lol.

French shark? Maybe...the kids are still laughing about it but I think I will skip that exhibit next time around

She was on our local new a lot. I remember seeing her paint. She chose the paint colors by herself. It was spooky and magical at the sme time.

I WAS VISITING THE ZOO WITH A FRIEND WHO WAS USING A CANE. HOWEVER THE ZOO GUARD WOULD NOT LET MY FRIEND USE HIS CANE IN THE ZOO. HE HAD TO USE A WHEEL CHAIR PROVIDED BY THE ZOO INSTEAD. I WAS TOLD I COULD CARRY THE CANE. WEIRD I KNOW. BUT IT GETS WEIRDER.

AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR MY FRIEND DID NOT WANT TO USE THE WHEEL CHAIR ANYMORE SO
I SWITCHED AND TOOK THE WHEEL CHAIR AND GAVE MY FRIEND HIS CANE BACK.

WHILE SITTING IN THE MONKEY HOUSE WHERE ALMOST ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN AND THE MONKEYS ARE PLAYING ARROUND ... I GOT AN IDEA SO WHEN ALOT OF PEOPLE HAD GATHERED I STARED AT THE MONKEYS ~ OPENED MY EYES REAL WIDE, SHOOK AND STOOD UP FAST YERLLIMNG ~ I VE BEEN CURED .. I CAN WALK .. PRAISE THE MONKEYS I CAN WALK, I AM CURED. I HOPPED UP AND DOWN YELLING I CAN WALK, I CAN WALK. I THAN RAN ARROUND SKIPPING, AND DANCING WHILE PUSHING THE WHEEL CHAIR I HAD BEEN IN AWAY AS FAST AS I COULD. I NOTICED SOME CAMERQA FLASHES.

AFTER A BIT I FOUND MY FRIEND AND TOLD HIM WHAT HAD HAPPENED AND LEFT HURRIDLY BEFORE ANY PEPEPROTZI SHOWWED UP LOOKIN FOR THE GUY THAT THE MONKEYS MADE WALK. I HAVE NEVER GONE BACK TO THAT ZOO.
