We had a lovely Fall day today. It was a nice day to take a trip to the high country to see the pretty Fall leaves. We usually do this each year.

I was thinking just today that it's about time one of us put up our favorite Autumn time song...you know the one I mean...lol.

It's starting to feel very much like winter is on it's way...

I guess every season has it's beauty...just like every phase of life does.

Yes, happiness is pretty much up to each of us at any age. Autumn years are usually slower but that can be a good thing. One of the best things is you are more at peace with yourself and with others. And, of course, the older you get, the more great memories you have. You can replay your personal mind videotape and smile.

At sixty we discover they haven't been thinking about us at all."

LOL...isn't that the truth! What a great quote that is.

When I think of growing older, the only thing that I fear is that my spirit will age along with my body. So far, my inner self feels pretty much the same as it did when I was 16...not that I am not wiser for my life experiences but just that I still feel young at heart

I don't mind if I grow into an old lady that only has kitties that love me but I don't want to grow into an old lady that only loves her kitties....lol. I have a feeling that only you might understand that and I hope the universe never reads that thought....lol.

I understand what you mean by having a young spirit.

Love keeps us young at heart even as we grow older. We need to feel that we are loved by someone unconditionally, and we all need to love unconditionally too.

I believe I am young in heart and spirit. And, I believe I am part of a very old soul. I believe we all are. I 'feel' the connection.
