and it's mostly beef-based, as I can get ground beef for really cheap - i feed that and balance it with the correct proportion of raw chicken backs (or you could do turkey necks or any other small digestible bone - beef bones are too hard and indigestible, they can crack or break teeth).
Bone-in pork roasts are also a big hit, as are beef hearts & organ meats.
Add some raw eggs (with the shell) and you are all set!
Some rough guidelines to follow: 60% meat, 20 to 25% edible bone, 10% organ meats and the rest can be eggs, cottage cheese, yogurt, fruits and vegges (pureed or cooked), etc. I wish I had access to cheap venison and stuff like that... oh well.
For the record... never had any allergies with my kids, no eye gunk or dirty ears, no itching and scratching, etc. White teeth, tiny poops, etc. They do get the occasional kibble dinner when I feel lazy, Dakotah gets Evo RM and Maika gets an organic chicken based kibble with grains, otherwise she plugs up like crazy. I'd say they are on an 80% raw diet though... Boy is a massive 145 lbs of bone and muscle and the tiny peanut is still 95 lbs, very light on her feet though.
