Yes, to the "uninitiated" eye, prong collars look like a torture device -- But one that's sized right & placed correctly will not hurt the dog ... always Always ALWAYS have the leash hooked to a back-up collar Trigger is wearing at the same time (I prefer to use a dominant dog collar for back-up) because in an emergency situation, a prong collar MAY pop open & then the dog gets LOOSE.
Trigger is clearly in GOOD hands at your house !!!
