...The trainer we contacted blew us off (got too much to do I guess) so we have contacted someone I talked to many months ago, we will invite him to see her. I had some changes in Yume's routine, besides just physical exercise she has now a lot of interaction with me and a lot of play that I incorporate training into. More chilling around us, walks more involved (not just walking for 3 hours, we also do some obedience on the way, then in the park take of the backpack and play with toys I carry with me. i get a lot of tail wags now, and she runs to me like a wind-even when I leave her tied out to the tree for two seconds when I go to throw out her poop baggy into trash, she greets me like we haven't seen each other for months. I mean jumps around like a horse and crawls on her belly very fast around me and says 'Ah-ah -ah!" and then throws herself into my lap and sits like that...and I scratch her. She still needs a lot of direction, playing with her needs to be careful, but she seems to be learning, and once i started to praise her and interact with her more -not cold, calm and quiet, but much friendlier, she started to respond much better. I still am teaching her while a tit (she knows now Crawl and Gentle,) Gentle helps with playing, she seems to understand that i don't like my fingers pinched when I hold a toy for her to chew. We don't play tug, though. Got to go walk.
I am keeping my fingers crossed. We can always get rid of her, of course. But i like her so much, I keep hoping. My husband sees the change, he did not even stop me form buying her new toys, treats, just smiled.
