Response to She is still here

it sounds like she`s really responding to the more interactive quiet and calm approach, it will take time but patience will pay off, my Asia took about 4 months to get over her very bad fear driven reactions, I think you always have to stay on top of it though, the training never really stops does it :) but incorperating it with play is always good, training should be fun for you and dog. she will have set backs and forget herself and there will be things you will always have to avoid, Asia can never have a bone or something that takes a long time to chew because she does a very good impression of an angry hyena!! lol she`d tear my hand off if I tried to go near her. I just feel that praise and comforting sounds can work wonders on a fearful dog, my sister is now using the same approach with her rescue border collie, she tried the more stern approach and he would get fearful and bite her husband, he snapped at a lot of people and a child, my sister was ready to give up on him, but since using a let`s say more sensitive approach he hasn`t had one bite or snap incedent, she said that finally convincing her husband to just use very few words and positive tones when "comanding" her dog had really helped as well:) my sister just softened towrds her dog and I spose he then softened towards her and everyone else:)

Keep up the good work matey :)
