Pay pal question . . . .

Ok, I'm a dinosaur and I ditched my paypal account about 3-4 years back. I was bombarded with emails all the time and I just said fock et.

Now fast forward and it seems that ebay has instituted a bew policy of paypal only, at least that's what I've been told. I still see a number of sellers saying they don't take paypal, so which is it? WTF?
