Response to Hmmm I Have paypal as well, and I dont get |
| My problem was I just got tired of all the stuff, plus having to keep track of the charges and so forth.
My ebay score is at 88, mostly as a buyer. I've had two deals that were sour for me as a buyer and one as a seller, so I have three negatives against me.
I sold a pair of Arlen Ness fender struts for 4sp. frames that were new. I described them as new, but I had bolted them on once and then removed them. In his eyes they were used and he tried to get me to refund his cash. I told him I wouldn't cause they were new. There wasn't a scratch on them anywhere, perfect condition, but they weren't in the package. I got a neg as a seller. I should have worded it better, but I was brand new at ebay and I plain fucked up.
As a buyer, one seller didn't mail out the item. I waited for more than enough time to pass and then enquired. He said he couldn't imagine that I didn't recieve it (a $3.00 snowmobile safety course patch) because he was sure his brother sent it out, and then said he'd mail another one. After another few days, it arrived, and then the next day, another one arrived. I emailed him saying that I recieved the second one and wanted to return it, at my expense on the shipping. The fucker gave me a negative saying my deal wasn't good. I paid the next fucking day and I'm an asshole? Fuck that shit. My second neg was from a guy who sold me a lamp as walnut and when it arrived, it was pine stained dark and the switch was broke. I emailed him and he said I should buy a new switch at Walmart. I paid like it was walnut and wouldn't have bought it at all if I knew it was pine. He said he was told it was walnut and that was good enough for him. Guy had like 10,000 ebay deals in the 90% range. I gave him a chance to make it right, then I left him a Red X. Of course, he left me one too, even though I paid the next day with a M/0, as always. My feedback is all about how quickly I pay.
I might be all done on ebay if I have to paypal everything. When I sold a few things, ebay took their percentage directly from my Visa and I never had a problem. As a buyer, I think it should be up to the seller to make the choice on how they want to be paid. If it's paypal only, so be it, I'll just move on. |
